they aren't making a ps3 version , they have an exclusive contract to make it for the windows os and xbox 360 only .
just like rockstar made gtaIV for both ps3 and 360 but signed an exclusive to only make the expansion packs for the 360 a company can make one game for all systems but not another , that's why bioware can make dragon age for ps3 and xbox and have an exclusive to only make mass effect 2 for microsoft ( who owns xbox and the windows operating systems that this pc version is for )

Will Mass Effect 2 Be On PS3?You'd be incorrect to assume that just because a company made a multiplatform game that all their games must be multiplatform. EA Bioware is a 3rd party developer, so they can make console exclusives if they choose to. If Microsoft or Sony pays them the money, then they will make the game. Just like Rockstar is developing a PS3 exclusive, but also is making Red Dead Redemption for all systems.
I'd give it about a 33% chance of happening. It's not imposable because, like you said, it's published by EA. There are some games that are just exclusive though. The first game wasn't on PS3, and the company said the 3rd game will "finish on the 360", so I doubt it.Will Mass Effect 2 Be On PS3?
As it is not developed by Microsoft Game Studios it is however published by Microsoft Game Studios, therefore it will never be on the PS3.
Not a chance. Microsoft has an exclusive license to Mass Effect so EA cannot make it for any other console other an Xbox 360 and PC since they are both Microsoft products.
