Hey you should try minecraft i know graphics suck but it is very addictive and fun also you can try teamfortress 2 on steam which is also free. You can try portal or gta 4 they are very fun games depending on what you are looking for.
I'm guessing you played Oblivion as well? If not, then that's the first one that I recommend.
