Can I get a Gaming PC evaluation?

My specs:

Windows 7 32-bit

Intel Pentium D CPU 2.66GHz

3072MB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT (drivers updated)

Tell me if these specs are good for a gaming PC and what I would need to upgrade. Also, if you know about the "combat lag" in Dragon Age and know a fix, PLEASE TELL ME IT IS HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING.

If you need any other information please tell me, I'll be happy to tell. Can I get a Gaming PC evaluation?
It might've been a viable gaming computer 5 years ago, but it's hopelessly outdated by today's standards.

The CPU is 3 generations behind the times and the video card is realistically 3 generations behind as well.

On a scale of 1 to 10: This one gets a 3. Playing modern games (BC2, Maifia II, the new Final Fantasy, etc.) will be an exercise in frustration.

Time to build yourself a new box.Can I get a Gaming PC evaluation?
You just need to replace the processor with intel Core 2 Duo/Core 2 Quad or Dual Core.Remember look for the processor which has socket 775 , 65nm silicon technology so you don't need to change your board. If your board is with intel G31 chipset or higher , you can look for 45nm processor.Intel Dual Core Processor offer low cost but you can get pretty high performance because it is easy to overclock with your stock rig.Intel Dual Core E2xxx and Core 2 Duo E4xxx sequence both are 65nm processor can easily found on ebay. The different btw Dual Core and Core 2 is the L2 Cache size which will affect gaming performance but both also using the same Core architecture. For Pentium D is different story it is using 2 processor in 1 die , which means it is 2 Pentium 4 Presscott in 1 processor which resulting it to heat up pretty fast and in your case , your Processor is 90nm technology 2MB L2 And 533FSB will create even more heat and poor for overclocking.Imagine you are just using just a Pentium 4 2.66 1MB L2 533 FSB for gaming and the other 1 Pentium 4 reserve for other application usage , how good the performance in gaming will be?And Pentium Ds are poor in multitasking and gaming compare with Dual Core.A 1.6Ghz Dual Core Processor can simply beat Pentium D 3.0Ghz Processor.Your Graphic card is pretty nice so no upgrade needed.Your RAM will be fine too.So look for a new processor to increase your Desktop performance.Hope can help you.. :)Can I get a Gaming PC evaluation?
they are ool but dont expect to run red dead on it

heres some things u need to play a game what just came out

AMD OR PENTIUM dual or quad core processor

celeron is the worst processor out there so dont buy that

nvidia or ati graphics, urs is cool (nice transfer rate too) keep that

transfer rate in ram should be over 400 mhz (not memory ie 1 gb)

other than that ur pc is ok and id value it abround 300 GBP
This is pretty good, Games like fallout or Bioshock probably wouldnt run to well.

Turn your display settings down on your game that should fix the lag
