My favorite games (in descending order): Mass Effect 1 %26amp; 2, Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, COD Modern Warfare 2, older Final Fantasy games (IX and below).

Yes, the Half life series. Also, this game has lasted me for a VERY long time. So many things to do, so many mods to mess around with, and still fun after playing for years: Grand Theft Auto 4.What PC games should I play?
You should definitely try the half-life series. They are not really recent, but they are really good. Though, I do recommend trying a demo first.
