Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?

I'm looking for a new RPG game to take up my time for the remainder of the summer and I was curious: Should I start off with Origins and then move on to DA 2? I've heard that Origins was far more enjoyable, and it got much better reviews.

Seeking advice from people that have played both games only, please.

Thank you!

ps- Playing on the PC. The last RPG I played was Oblivion: Elder Scrolls, which I very much enjoyed.Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Just play Dragon Age II it is so much better than the first and origins combined. Much better story lines, gameplay, and controls IMO
First one is a better overall game. Which is why its ratings overall are about a 9.75 and the second ones are around 7.

Anyway, other guy is kind of a lousy gamestop employee if he recommends this. If you have access to the first one play it first, and the expansion. They introduce characters that are in the second one, and give you the grounding in the world you need to fully appreciate and understand all the aspects of the story and the world. Game play is far more challenging and its a longer game as well.Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
i myself have played both and would agree that yes your should start with origins because it was one of the best RPGS i have played and would help you to get the story of the second, however skyrim is comingout soon
Yes! but get dragon age origins ultimate edition!!! its really amazing!Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Yes of course you should. Mr. I work at gamestop doesn't know much about gaming. Dragon Age Origins is a great game, better reviewed than 2 by far, and contains chracters and information needed to understand DA2. If you do not play DA Origins, you will not at all understand the ending of DA2. Its not explained in DA2, you will just be lost. DA Origins is absolutely essential for story reasons.
