I got Dragon Age 2 and I read that it's for 64-bit operating systems, what will happen if you choose to play it on a 32-bit OS?Is it possible to play 64-bit PC games on a 32-bit OS?
They once posted the system requirements incorrectly on their forum. They later edited the requirements to add 32-bit operating systems. Wherever you read the requirements, they're still showing old information. I played the game on Windows 7 32-bit without any problems. Is it possible to play 64-bit PC games on a 32-bit OS?
No. That is why they are 32 bit. In the same way a regular DVD player can't play a Blu-ray disc.

Which of these pc games would you recommend?
I can get 2 of these:
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age 2
Crysis 2
Dark Spore
or I can just get rageWhich of these pc games would you recommend?
Allow me to expedite the sorting process.
Mass Effect 2? Amazing game, worth the money.
Dragon Age 2? A massive disappointment; the maps are mundane and the gameplay is far too repetitive for the length of the game.
Crysis 2? Like it's predecessor, Crysis 2 is a great FPS.
Darkspore? While creating and customizing creatures is awesome, the gameplay grows tiresome.
Rage? Fallout mixed with Borderlands, where can you go wrong?Which of these pc games would you recommend?
Crysis 2 is definitely a must-have! There isn't any other game like this; The graphics and game play are amazing. There are flaws in this game like buggy enemies and solid to boring campaign. The multiplayer is great too; in fact its the most interesting part of the whole game. I'm giving this game a 5/5. BTW, I can't believe that x-play gives this game 4 stars and Marvel vs Capcom 5 stars. The multiplayer in Marvel vs Capcom is laggy. Unbelievable!!Which of these pc games would you recommend?

Best PC games for chirstmas?
I know this is a little bit late, but what are some really good PC games?? Preferably under $100 and available in New Zealand (don't worry) I like stuff like TES4: oblivion, Sims 3 and Assains creed. I really want assains creed 2, but cannot find it on PC, can anyone tell me where to get it?
Also I want dragon age origines but my mom wont let me buy it cause it R16. :(
Anyone else?Best PC games for chirstmas?
I think Assassin's Creed 2 has more violence than Dragon Age. Assassin's Creed 2 is still not launched on PC. It will be launched for PC on March 2010.
Its difficult to get good kids games. Tell your MOM you are mature enough and know the difference between reality and virtual world.
Try these:
The Saboteur (18+)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Recommended, R rating)
Mirror's Edge (Must Play, Teen Rating)
Batman Arkham Asylum (Probably game of the year, Teen Rating)
Prince of Persia 4
Prototype
Mmm If I get to know more, I'll tell ya.Best PC games for chirstmas?
Try "Dragon Age: Origins" it's really good. like REALLY. Watch a trailer and you'll know what I mean.

What games would you recommend for me to play next (PC only)?
i beat fable TLC on PC
im going to soon play prototype it looks interesting.
i want to play bayanetta but its not on PC
i want o play god of war but again its not on PC
i liked Left 4 dead but now its kind of boring (not into any other shooter games)
dragon age doesnt interest me from the gameplay videos i have seen.
Assasians creed i am currently playing and its just so boring ( im at memory block 2)What games would you recommend for me to play next (PC only)?
Any Elder Scrolls Game, I recommend Morrowind, But if you are more of a mainstream gamer go with Oblivion. The Reason why i recommend Morrowind is because it is way more in depth and has tons and tons of mods, also still has an active comunity. I still make mods myself and its not hard. It is just alot of reading. What games would you recommend for me to play next (PC only)?
Red Faction: Guerrilla (Everything is destructible!)
Fallout 3
Command And Conquer: Kane's Wrath (Tiberium wars' expansion)
btw left 4 dead is a multiplayer oriented game so you should try it with friends its a great experience
Witcher

Recommend some PC games?
I recently got a new graphics card and I want to really put it to the test.
Sadly, I haven't been up to date on my PC games, buying mostly for my Xbox. So far the highest spec one I can test is Dragon Age 2, and seeing as how I pretty much hated that game, I don't see myself playing a whole game of it.
So any recommendations on some good PC games to test my PC with.
As a reference, my favourite games are:
Dragon Age: Origins
Mass Effect 2
Assassins Creed 2
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Knights of the Old Republic
Bayonetta
If you have any ideas similar to these it's appreciated but any genre will do generally. Only ones I don't play are sports or racing games really.
Thanks in advanceRecommend some PC games?

If you're looking for a game to play
And you don't have money to pay
You can stop your search right now
Listen here and I'll tell you how...
League of Legends is a fun game,
It is free to play
With seventy plus champions
You will not go bored all day.
There are monsters and mages
and ninjas and knights,
And an awesome pirate
that will win all your fights. (yarrr harrr harrr!)
If you want to burn someone
Annie is the best
She will conflagrate, incinerate
And obliterate the rest.
Her flames are mighty
Leaving whole crowds stunned,
And if you've met her bear
Your whole body will be bludgeoned.
If you love destrcution
from beyond the grave,
Karthus makes the other team,
Seem like a bunch of knaves.
He summons eternal pain
and waste to which all succumb,
His enemies will swear
when they hear his requiem.
If you like the bow and arrow
and the winter season,
Ashe the frost archer is
a choice of reason,
Her arrows pierce skin,
Her frost pierces the heart,
And her giant crystal arrow
is impossible to thwart.
He may not look pretty,
He is definitely not nice,
But Twitch and his poison
make him a god among mice.
He will hide around the map,
waiting for a chance,
Blindly shooting he makes
enemies do a funny dance.
If you like hearing jokes,
Choose Shaco the demon jester,
With his poison shivs
Enemy wounds will fester,
He can disappear and reappear
in the blink of an eye,
and when enemies see two of him,
They are about to die.
If you like throwing cutlery
Dr. Mundo is a pro,
He can hack and burn your enemies
And heal up as he goes,
He is ruthless and invincible
treating attacks like mere breezes
The best part about him
is that he goes where he pleases.
This is all the time I have
to describe the champions of this game...
Hopefully you'll play LoL
And earn your way to fame.
Dragon Age origins is an excellent game. The storyline is deep and nuanced, graphics are excellent and storytelling is dramatic and well written. Additionally, this edition gives you all the accompanying DLC to further expand the experience. Highly reommend this to any gamer who enjoys sword and sorcery type action/adventure. For achievement hunters, achievements are solidly challenging and varied. To get the full gamerscore would require either multiple playthroughs or keeping save files at particluar junctions of the game where you are required to make choices that lead to branching storylines / results.Recommend some PC games?
I am a lover for the sims games but nothing goes past World of Warcraft (WOW). WOW is a online multiplayer game. From questing to battlegrounds its a challenge not to get bored unless MO arnt your thing. As far as WOW goes Rift is very similar and has just come out recently. Hope that helps might be best to check out the trailers to them first to see if its your type of thing.
if you have a nividia gpu get "The Saboture" its like gta and assassins creed had a baby and it got invaded by germany
(ATI GPU's are buggy with it, dont bother if u have an ATI)
Check out brotherhood, Waaaayyyyy better that AC2
Just cause 2 also amazing, story sucks but the sandbox is greatRecommend some PC games?
The God of war franchise. They're very similar to Assassins creed and price of Persia. You might have to torrent them, and if you don't know how to, then email me at Callummunro10@aol.com

This may not be in your genre category, but the Sims 3 (2 works as well) are EXTREMELY fun and addicting PC games. (: Try it!
you can play halo
my name on halo 1 combat evolved is ayush
Crysis2,Cod mw2,Cod bo,Re5,Gta4.
You should try The Sims 2. It's really fun. But don't get Sims 3, it's filled with bugs and stuff.
Left4Dead and Left4Dead II
Sims Medival i bought that game it was amazing really addicting :D being the king , doctor . mage , blacksmith , presit and the spy you go around doing quest but you also got a role. To do so if your the doctor you do the quests but you also have mini jobs like reserach for 2 hours , and get leeches for the operating table.
You can send the people there to the stocks and the pit (Inside the pit your character can die so you will need to start again which is annoying make sure you save the game before you jump to fight it lol
You can also cast spells on people as the mage
Remember its set in the 1800 so for your bath you got a wooden thing to get wash you use a cooking pot over the fire to cook its a really great game
Only Probelm is when you get it will say there is a update don't update it ! Error 16 deletes ur saved file so don't update intill they fix the patch up.
Crysis 2 will test your graphics card. It's a first person shooter though. A very good one at that though. Portal 2 is coming out soon and there's a few rpg's that you may like, like Dungeon Siege 3. I've got a huge list of games that i want so i'll jsut put them here and check them out on ign.com to see if you like or not. Alot of them aren't out yet though.
Warhammer 40 000: Space MArine
The Secret World
Metalgear Solid: Rising
Prototype 2
Xmen Destiny
Diablo 3
Starwars Old republic
Knights Contract
Dawn of War 2: Rebellion (of any of the Dawn of War 2 series is good)
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (that'll test your graphics card when that comes out and that'll definitely be a nice rpg)

Did you try "Call Of Duty 4-Modern Warfare 1 %26amp; 2"? It is one of the best and ultimate games having stunning graphics, also it has modern weapons and best military tactics. You would enjoy playing it if you are a true gamer and love action games.
Besides this if you are interested in racing games go for the latest NFS series (like shift/prostreet). Even these games have awesome graphics and are good racing games. Another such kind of racing games is "Juiced 2 Hot Import Nights".
If all in one kind of game is needed go for "GTA 4" or "Bully-scholarship edition".
If you are interested in a strategy game opt for "command and conquer zero hour" or CS.
If you are interested in sports go for Fifa 2010 or Pro evolution Soccer 2010.

How can I estimate the amount of time I've spent playing video games my whole life?
Hello, my name is Nathan, and I LOVE video games. I'm sure every kid says that, but I say it with meaning, and heart. I'm turning 16, and I was going to ask my parents for some cool video games for my birthday. They said, "What happened to all those video games you've played?" Well, I've beaten them all, they've released new series, and so on. I was bored this weekend and made a list. A list of every video game I have ever played. I played my first video game in December of 1998, the Gameboy Advance, ever since then, video games are everything to me. According to my list, I have played a total of 480 video games. Below is a list of 150 games... but what I really want to know is, is there any way to estimate how much time of my life I have spent playing video games, and what my life would be like if I never touched one? SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE. I put a lot of time and effort into this personal project. Thank you.

WHOA THAT IS ONE CRAZY LIST
AND YOU ARE ONE CRAZY VIDEOGAME FAN TO THE CORE
So to find out how much approx in hours
Find out how much you play per day on average. Then multiply this by 365. This value you get is approximately how much you play per year. Then multiply the value by 12, assuming you started on December 1998 and have been playing for 12 years. That should give you a rough value of how much you played.gas mileage pf changs menu

That should give you a rough value of how much you played.

What are some good Single Player/Splitscreen game?
I'm getting an Xbox and I highly doubt I'm going to get Live so what games have a very lengthy, fun singleplayer campaign or Spiltscreen?
I'm into RPG games just because their very long and not most of the time online.
I already have Dragon Age, Oblivion, Fallout 3 %26amp; New Vegas on my PC.
Currently on top of my head I'm thinking; Vanquish, Batman Arkham Asylum, Fable 3 and Mass Effect 2.What are some good Single Player/Splitscreen game?
Fable 3 is really easy. What isn't easy, but gives you the choice is Vanquish. I just got it for my birthday, and it's really fun. It's only short if you put it on casual or Normal. Just like any other game that is set on easy, you are going to breeze through it quickly. When playing on hard, you die sometimes even if you don't let them. And when you die, your upgraded weapons go down one rank, making them weaker, or have less ammo capacity. So not dying at all, is a thrill and feels rewarding. Trying not to die, it took me 12 hours to complete on hard. Within these 12 hours, I had gigantic boss fights, cinematic style finishers, slow-mo kneesliding shotgun firepower. I am still not finished because there are challenges to complete too, and I want to do God Hard. If you played Bayonetta, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, or Resident Evil 4 (The director of Vanquish worked on these games), then you know you know you are going to love them with or without multiplayer (without because those games don't have any). What are some good Single Player/Splitscreen game?
If you liked fallout then id suggest borderlands. Not quite as RPG'y as fallout and more geared towards the fps side but it does have levels, classes and more gun combinations than you can shake a turkey's tongue at.. its also split screen and if you have a buddy the campaign on split is a blast.
Batman is awesome.. a great single player and a bunch of random extra stuff to do afterwards. Mass Effect is fantastic but outdone in every sense by ME2 (although i do miss the bouncing buggy). Fable 3 is col but its a bit oversimplified now.. you can burn through it over a weekend although there is a ton of stuff to do if you can be bothered.. i really couldn't but I cant say it isn't a great game.
I've only played the vanquish demo.. now you reminded me.. its on my list :D
Halo reach.. great little game and has split screen coop but the campaigns pretty short and it mostly shines in online MP.. split screen ctf didn't thrill me.. my friends cheat.
Edit: oh you said ME2 haha my bad (stupid eyes)

Thinkin about getting Star Wars Knight of the Old Rebublic(not the new one) on pc few questions?
We have a new hp computer that can handle games like far cry 2 on hi graphics so that is not a issue
Will it work on new computers(we have windows 7)
I played the first two mass effects and dragon age origins ultimate edition on xbox 360 and loved them and Bioware made this first!
Basically will it work on our new computer(its a hp)Thinkin about getting Star Wars Knight of the Old Rebublic(not the new one) on pc few questions?
The fact that it's an HP is completely irrelevant. The hardware inside it matters and the only difference it makes that you have a brand PC is that you paid too much.
Windows 7 can be problematic. I installed KotOR recently and it required some heavy modding and even downloading an illegal crack. Go here for more info: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/鈥?/a>Thinkin about getting Star Wars Knight of the Old Rebublic(not the new one) on pc few questions?

Can I run Dragon's age Origin on max settings?
Hey, guys already made a post on with new desktop specs it can run max fine. But since i'm on the move a lot wanted to check my pc too. I tried various progroams but they say diffferent things so an expert opinion will be great. Here it is.
Intel Core Duo 2 Cupu t6400 2.0 ghz (2 cpu)
3gb ram on dxdiag, says 4gb on performance chart tho so.
Ati Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (1024MB, 1525mb total memory)
Widows VIsta
300gb of hd
So what do u guys think can this play max or close? Please let me know thanks. Can I run Dragon's age Origin on max settings?
You shouldn't have a problem running at max (or at least, very close) my system is very similar to yours, and I am able to run it at max settings. The recommended specs are -
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz or equivalent
RAM: 4 GB (Vista) or 2 GB (XP)
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
A little more RAM wouldn't hurt, however you should be fine. I just upgraded from 4gb to 6gb and max settings are no problem. They weren't a problem when I was running 4gb either.just tires window tint

rubbish, basically
also the majority of games with good graphics played on both the xobx 360 or the PS3 arent run in HD (resolution of 1920 x 1080) because the hardware isnt up for it, the games are instead run at 1240 x 720How does Xbox 360 graphics in HD compare to high end PC games at max settings?
Seconded. It doesn't.

What is wrong with Left 4 Dead 2?
I was playing the game on my PC yesterday and today I was downloading the passing dlc. While I waited I decided to play Dragon Age Origins. Once L4D2 finished I tried to play it and now, every time a map finishes loading the game crashes. Does anyone have any suggestions? What is wrong with Left 4 Dead 2?

Okay so I'm currently looking for some games for my PC, prefarably RPGs, and i was thinking maybe Dragon Age Origins, but I already have it for my Xbox and I didn't really enjoy it but I REALLY enjoyed KOTOR on PC and I heard from peole that DA was a lot better for PC, but I'm not sure. Also I have Diablo 2 which i find pretty good, Deus Ex 1 and 2, not sure about them, The Witcher, again undecided on wether I like it, oh and I have both Mass Effects and Oblivion, so any reccomendation for a new PC RPG? Try to keep it from going below maybe the year 2000, thank you.PC RPGs, need help getting a good one.?

What PC games should I play?
Soo... I'm in a gaming slump right now. Can anyone recommend some games for me? I only play games on PC.
My favorite games (in descending order): Mass Effect 1 %26amp; 2, Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, COD Modern Warfare 2, older Final Fantasy games (IX and below).
It doesn't have to be a super new game, anything that came out in the last 5 years or so is good. What do you think? What PC games should I play?
League of Legends. Came out last year, and is rapidly gaining popularity. What PC games should I play?
Yes, the Half life series. Also, this game has lasted me for a VERY long time. So many things to do, so many mods to mess around with, and still fun after playing for years: Grand Theft Auto 4.What PC games should I play?
You should definitely try the half-life series. They are not really recent, but they are really good. Though, I do recommend trying a demo first.

I Need a Good Gaming PC Help?
i want a PC that can play the best games (Risen,Dragon Age origins,Wolverine Origins,Fallout 3,Modern warfare 2, etc) at maximum graphical setting. Where can i find one or what is a specific PC i should buy i know some cost thousands but i would like one from $1-$500 and if it can play the game at moderate setting they would be fine. Or a good site with a custom PC building program that's easy to useI Need a Good Gaming PC Help?
I suggest build your own. It's way cheaper especially for gaming PCs. There are many tutorials online and many books about it. Do NOT buy an alien ware computer. They are way overpriced and far from the best.

Great Single Player Xbox 360 games with good replayability?
I am looking for single player oriented games for the Xbox 360 with good enough replayability and length which can make me play about 5 times before putting it back on the shelf.
I heard Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was a pretty awesome Single player even though it includes Multiplayer now and Dead Rising 2 looks like it has alot of replaybility because of the weapon cominbation.
I dont like Hack and Slash brawlers like Darksiders and I have Fallout 3/New Vegas, Oblivion, and Dragon Age Origins on my PC. I also have Black Ops.Great Single Player Xbox 360 games with good replayability?
I would say Dead Rising 2. Because it's a game that is meant to be replayed.
Borderlands is a great long game with 50 lvls and you are actually required to play through it twice. you will easily get about 50-100hrs of game play.Great Single Player Xbox 360 games with good replayability?
Mass Effect I played that game through prolly 5 times just to see all the permutations of mission order. Also it was awesome In Mass Effect 2 im on 3 playthrough

How do you use the save generator mod?
I just bought Dragon Age 2 for my PC and want to use the save generator mod to use the story I'd made in DA:O without having to buy and replay it. But, I can't figure out how to make it work on the game. I've never actually used mods before, so if any explanations given could be in explicit detail, that would be greatly appreciated. I tried putting it into an override folder inside the Dragon Age program, but that didn't seem to do anything.
Could someone who knows a lot about mods please give me directions in detail so I can get it working? Thank you.How do you use the save generator mod?
Save it under the game folder.. Then, play the game.. You should have the save generator...
Good luck!

Any decent games I still haven't got?
I have all the best games, or played them already and sold them. I have played all the CODs, RDR, GTA, ACs, FIFAs, Dragon Age, Oblivion, WoW (on pc), Aion (on pc), Battlefield Bad Company 1 (not 2) and lots more. I have played over 80 games on my xbox altogether, but I do welcome a good PC game after playing WoW for 2 years.
The only good games I can think of for the XBOX 360 that I haven't got is Fallout 3, which I am not really interested in, and Battlefield BC 2, which I didnt buy because of a disappointing demo. Not sure what the real game is like though.
So is there any other decent XBOX 360, or PC MMOs that I haven't got? My birthday on Wednesday so I kind of wanted a game.Any decent games I still haven't got?

Graphics problem with my Graphics card?
I got a pc game named dragon age a year ago, and it lagged bad. I got a new graphics card, and made it perfecT High detail and textures didnt lag it up at ALL. I stopped playing for a year, and I installed windows 7, which deleted all files including Dragon Age.
I just installed it back, and i put all my high graphics settings including high texture detail. But now it's lagging, as if its not able to handle it?!?! I need some help!
Also, I forgot the name of my graphics card, but I put stickers on my comp, and they say
AMD Phenom 64
Fueled by Saphire, ATI Radeon
Nvidia
direct x diagnostic tool says my display device is ATI Radeon HD 3400 series
processor is : AMD Phenom 8400 triple-core processor (3 CPUs) 2.1 Ghz~Graphics problem with my Graphics card?
The best thing to do right now is to bring it to a Computer Repair Shop near you and have it fix ASAP! so that you Graphics Card will work properly, Believe me when I tell you this, it is worth it to get it repaired before more damage internally.Graphics problem with my Graphics card?

Which one of these PC RPGs should I play next?
Which on of these PC RPGs should I play next and why not the others?
Gothic 3
The Witcher
Fallout 3
Neverwinter Nights 2
Dragon Age: OriginsWhich one of these PC RPGs should I play next?
It depends on what you look for in an RPG; highlights for each, IMO, are:
Gothic 3: Uh, haven't tried this one yet...
The Witcher: It brings morality and story telling to a whole new level. If you like a dark, mature (both in content and that this is a thinking-man's game, including combat in the higher difficulty settings) theme to your gaming try this one. On the flip side, there's not much in the way of customization; no character classes, limited selection of weapons, etc.
Fallout 3: From your list, this is the most non-linear game. If you like exploration, this is the one you should get. It's five add-ons/DLCs also prolong gaming time. Add to that a (very) active modding community. So, again, if you like exploring a big world, shaping and fine tuning your character, and the ability to customize your game with tons of new areas, weapons, characters, textures, and more, this is the one for you. Personally though, I'd suggest you try the first two games in the series.
Neverwinter Nights 2: This one is for 'traditional' RPG fans; it has a great story, a host of interesting characters. But it hasn't really aged well, and now, it pales in comparison to newer titles.
Dragon Age: Origins: This is one of the best RPGs to date. It has a great and engaging stories, likable characters, and a believable world where everything - from your class and race to sub-quests - influences the world you walk in. Recruitable NPCs are also much more than simple meat-shields and damage dealers, and truly enliven the game.
Bottom line:
If you want to 'play' a mature-themed novel: The Witcher
If you want a huge sandbox you can customize to your heart's content: Fallout 3
If you wan an epic story: Dragon Age: OriginsWhich one of these PC RPGs should I play next?

What's PhysX_9.09.0408_SystemSoftware for? What will it do to my pc?
It came on Dragon Age: Origins Disc 2. I don't know what it will do to my pc. As I was going to install it was so badly translated and said something like "this will remove NVIDIA from your machine". What does it mean? What happens if I continue installation? And what's the purpose of it for the game? What's PhysX_9.09.0408_SystemSoftware for? What will it do to my pc?

Is this a good gaming pc?
I wanted to know if this is a good gaming PC that could run games like dragon age origins, oblivion, fallout 3, and mass effect smoothly.
PROCESSOR: Intel庐 Core鈩?i3 530 Dual Core 2.93GHz (4MB Cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM: Genuine Windows庐 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English

MEMORY; 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz
HARD DRIVE: 500GB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 16MB Cache HDD
OPTICAL DRIVE: 24X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability
SOUND CARD: Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio
So can it run them smoothly? Is this a good gaming pc?
IT can run games pretty smoothly although I don't think at maxed settings to be honest!
If you want it to run better, you have better chances with upgrading to an
i5
and a ATI 5770! But since they are just 1 step up, it might cost a lot, so it's your choice!
GL!Is this a good gaming pc?
you can play any game maxed out at very high settings.your pc is more than enough for games. Is this a good gaming pc?
You should be able to play just about any game. Though not at max settings.

What is a good game for ps3 or pc?
I need an engaging game with a good storyline for PS3 or PC (preferably PC) and decent characters. I particularly enjoy non-linear, open world games such as Fallout 3 and Oblivion, but I also enjoy games such as Uncharted, Uncharted 2, and Dragon Age: Origins. Action/Adventure/RPG I guess are the categories I am looking for, but I am open to anythingWhat is a good game for ps3 or pc?
It's not really an open game, but BioShock is fantastic. One of the better games I've ever played.
EDIT Also LittleBIGPlanet was also really fun.
I think you would be interested in Red Dead Redemption. It's an open world game, and the storyline is really good. I find it quite engaging, especially if you like old western movies- this is like an interactive one! ;)
Here's a link for more information on the game. It really is great! :D

Gears of War has the best storyline of any game I have ever played in my opinion.
Another incredibly great game is BioShock. Although the story gets cheesy at parts, gameplay is incredible.
Another few games are:
InFamous
Prototype
Assassins Creed 1 and 2 and soon Brother hood (incredible storyline here)
Batman Arkham Asylam
Fable 1 and 2
Soon Fallout New Vegas will be out
I personally love the Halo storyline

What game should I buy? *On a PC*?
So, what games do you guys think I should buy? Under $70 please. On a pc. No games that you have to pay a monthly fee. I was thinking of games like, Starcraft 2, Dragon Age, CoD MW2?What game should I buy? *On a PC*?
I would have to say Starcraft2 the game is pretty balanced there is a lot of online competitive play, the computer ai is pretty good, and to top it off playing the Campaign was fun with all the achievements you could do. Then if you add the custom maps it really makes the game a lot more fun because of all the different types of games people can do on Starcraft 2.
Besides Blizzard is one of the few gaming companies who does not release a game until it is finished so the games quality is top notch.
I hope this helps and have a nice day.
there is a really innovative game by steam. it wasn't really expected to sell out well, but it sold so well that they are now making a second one. this game is called Portal. its a fantastically great game. its puzzling, and funny. but if that doesn't work out, there's always prince of persia! What game should I buy? *On a PC*?
CoD is a great choice, the Crisis series is also good. From what I've heard, Civilization 5 is supposed to be brilliant. Oh yes, Dragon Age as well.
SC2 would be a good choice or CoDMW2, good luck with your choice and have fun. What game should I buy? *On a PC*?

Free mass effect 2 code?
Before the 30th of April anyone who bought Dragon Age 2 will get a free copy of Mass effect 2 on PC, this works for copies for Dragon Age 2 on Xbox 360 and ps3 as well. I was wondering if anyone doesn't have a good enough computer and has a copy of dragon age 2 if they would be willing to give me there spare key.

For the record, that doesn't come with the Cerberus Network card. If you don't mind not having dlc, it's fine. But the card costs $15 - and the game costs $20 now.

Baldurs Gate and Baldurs Gate II: Shadows of Amn are some of the best RPG's ever created. They are made by Bioware if that tells you something. As for shooters, I've always been a fan of the Unreal series.

What video game should I get my boyfriend?
Ok, my boyfriend likes PC games. He likes games like Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead (but I know he doesn't want Left 4 Dead 2), Oblivion, and The Elder Scrolls. He doesn't like things like WoW, just so you know.
I'd like to get him a game along the lines of what he likes, but I know basically nothing about video games. Any help would be super appreciated! What video game should I get my boyfriend?
Fallout Three is the best game for PC around, you should get that for him.
Its alot like Left 4 Dead but no zombies and its very fun shoot em up with a good story line and mulltiplayer.
Take my word and get this for him
Well, get him to download the game demo Tropico 3 and see if he likes that demo. I personally love the game. That might be one to get. If not, you could always get him Modern Warfare 2.What video game should I get my boyfriend?
Borderlands, Fallout 3, and maybe some of the Final Fantasy series.
"Fallout 3" if he hasn't got it.
It's made by the same people that made Oblivion so I'm sure he would enjoy it.What video game should I get my boyfriend?

I'm planning to get a new computer for Dragon Age II, what specs should I get? I'm not asking for Bioware's?
I'm asking about what I need, AT LEAST, to be able to max out all graphic and video settings and still play smoothly without lagging and compromising speed. I've seen the recommended settings on Bioware's site, and I don't believe those will be enough, I've also made my own list, but the guy who's selling me the pc tells me it might still be too expensive for me.
I listed: i7 960 3.2, Nvidia Geforce GTX 580. If these two are already too much to run the game on max graphic settings smoothly, please tell me what specs are just enough, so I don't spend all my money. ThanksI'm planning to get a new computer for Dragon Age II, what specs should I get? I'm not asking for Bioware's?
Don't get Nvidia if you are planning to play Dragon Age II.
Get an AMD. Nvidia drivers are not cooperating with DA2 atm.
6870+ will get you 40fps+ @1920x1080 resolution @ maxed out settings from what I heard. Haven't seen any benchmarks yet besides for the 580, 6990,and the 5970
Edit: saw that you wanted a list of cheap components
CPU - any quad core will do preferably i7-9xx or Sandy Bridge
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6870
HDD - 500MB - 1TB HDD 32MB Cache 7200RPM
RAM - 6GB or 4GB depending if you choose a dual or triple channel supporting chipset
PSU - 600W+ (must be 80+ certified)
Everything else you can pick to your liking.justin bieber phone number coming soon to dvd

Everything else you can pick to your liking.

PC won't read Battlefield Bad Company 2?
I just bought this from GAME, opened the case, put the disc in and it didn't work. There was a brief symbol on the screen near the cursor with the rotating disc, but it went off and the DVD-Drive didn't make much noise. I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit Intel Core i5-2310. It's not my disc drive because Dragon Age and Test Drive worked perfectly. I tried it on my laptop (which can barely play it at minimal settings) and it worked. Autorun started and it read the disc fine. What's at fault here? Should I return it or pirate it and use my code to activate it online? Please help. Thanks :)PC won't read Battlefield Bad Company 2?
Try inserting the disk into your laptop, copy the contents of the disk into a usb stick, and transfer all the contents into your gaming pc's desktop. from there, run the installer.
Im not sure if it will work, but theres no harm in trying.
if it doesnt work, try checking the ,startup programs ,in your pc. some of them must be conflicting with the bad company installer.
sorry, im not much help

Know any games like Dragon Age: Origins?
I really love this game, I beat it (under 2 days so I'm proud) and I'm looking for a game like it. What I'm looking for is a game where you can choose what to do and say and the npc will do certain things :) and I like how you can choose how your character will look. That's all I'm looking for except one last thing, I want to be able to make people in the game, like and hate me, and that they can also date xD (gay maybe?) well that's it, any ideas? Oh, and on pc.Know any games like Dragon Age: Origins?

You got the specs, however dont expect to play it maxed out. I would say medium quality, with no AA at that resolution. You can get higher quality with lower resolution, however i would recomend staying at your native.

What PC game should I buy next?
I'm a PC gamer and I'm looking to buy a new game... I'm thinking either Dragon Age: Origins or Rage.
I've played:
Batman AA (I'm playing Arkham City now)
Bioshock
TF2
Crysis
COD MW3
Battlefield BC2
Mass Effect 2
L4D2
Borderlands
Which game should I get, and why? Or if you have a different game you think is better, tell me! Thanks! What PC game should I buy next?
You should totally get Starcraft 2. best strategy game out there ,idk if thats what your into but... its the best :)
Id get skyrim its a great game takes time to play and i felt like rage just wasnt long enough and was disappointed that after you beat it you have to start from the beginingWhat PC game should I buy next?
Skyrim
Bastion
Civ 5 ( if you like strategy games )
Bastion is great and only $15
I would say if you love RPG either get Skyrim or Dragon Age, Dragon age would probably be a little cheaper now since it's been around for some time.. Both these games have really good story lines and quests that'll keep you entertained for hours!
I've played Bioshock 1 and 2 but still think Dragon Age Origins was better...What PC game should I buy next?
definately get tf2, look on steam and its a free game, then you can buy upgradespublishing companies what is 4g

How well will my computer (likely) run Dragon Age: Origins?
I know this has been asked a lot by now, and I've checked out the minimum specs and it looks like I'm up to snuff. The requirements are:
Windows XP Minimum Specifications
OS: Windows XP with SP3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Single (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
RAM: 1GB or more
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB or greater
Recommended Specifications
OS: Windows XP with SP3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
RAM: 2 GB (XP)
Video: NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
and my specs are:
OS: Windows XP with SP3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz
RAM: 3 GB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9600
I THINK I'm covered here... I'm not too technically inclined, and from what I can see I'm covered way above the minimum specs save for my CPU, which is a dual core but runs @ 1.86 GHz as opposed to the 2.4 GHz that is the recommended specs... so my question would be, how well could I run DA:Origins with this computer? I'm sure i'll be able to run it, and I have no intentions of putting it on highest graphics (it's usually way too choppy) but with the system I have, would it be worthwhile getting this game for PC?? Thanks a bunch :)How well will my computer (likely) run Dragon Age: Origins?
I think that, with the graphics toned down a bit, and ground clutter and shadow detail set low, you should be able to achieve decent stability for Dragon Age: Origins :)
As for the recommended specs, they actually call for a Quad core processor 'o'How well will my computer (likely) run Dragon Age: Origins?
You should be fine...won't have the best graphics experience, and the game may lag in spots, but you should be fine.
So far as I can tell as yet (haven't played more than a couple hours total), it's a good game!
Good Luck! How well will my computer (likely) run Dragon Age: Origins?
your **** should run it fine. You can always overclock your cpu if you built the comp custom...

Should I Play Dragon Age Origins?
i bought DAO and DA2 a while ago i played a little bit of both of them sorta a mistake on my part but oh well and i love how DA2 combat is its so fast and gets you into your character at least for me :)
but DAO the story drew me in but it was so hard for me to play cause the combat system is so slow im sure its very fun to play on the PC but my PC sucks but i just couldn't get into the game cause of the slow combat system and the auto attack is there anyway to turn that off?
but what im asking is should i play Origins before DA2 i don't mind playing DA2 first i only bought Origins for about 5$ so not a big deal if i don't play it
don't be a dumbass saying you need to play the first one to understand the story! i get where you coming from but not everyone needs to play every game from a series to understand video game stories i understood mass effect when i played the second one first and i understood halo 2 , MGS4 and many othersShould I Play Dragon Age Origins?
I agree that the worst aspect of DAO is it's combat, but that's it. I find the best way to play it is to play with a supportive character like a rogue or mage. Let your companions do most of the heavy fighting. DAO story is by far superior to DA2's and is worth getting through the dull combat. But you do get accustomed to the combat in DAO after a while. Just don't forget to tweak the Character Tactics to make things a tad easier.
No! violent videogames are the work of the devil!!!
You dont want to lose your immortal soul for a few hours of awesome gameplay do you?Should I Play Dragon Age Origins?

as far as i know you don't need to play origins to understand #2 because its 2 different characters that are years apart,or so i thought.by the sounds of it your not that interested in playing origins because of the combat system.if that's the case then don't bother.i thought origins/awakenings was great, but after reading the reviews for #2 i didn't bother buying it.the reviews said,if you were a big fan of the first dragon age then you probably wont like the changes that were made to the second one and may not enjoy it.so i never bothered with #2.hope this helps.Should I Play Dragon Age Origins?
I thought DA2 was a mistake by Bioware in terms of quality control but I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I tend to value story line more than game play, which is why I can stand playing the Final Fantasy Games (which are really slow "combat" wise and a tad bit boring).
As to if you should play Origins before DA2, play which ever one you enjoy the most. If you get some spare time, you can re-try to play DAO but beyond that..if you don't enjoy than don't worry about it (find something else).
People are constantly ripping other peoples choices in video games. I say why worry about it. Play what you like, date who you like, get involved in interests you like and if someone has a problem with it...f--k em.

Dragon Age: Origins FINGER-BONE HELP!?
I need answers and i need them quick so please help me!!!
Alright, so im on the "entering jarvia's hideout" and this seems to be a common bug/error. I talked to everyone in the dust town offered silver//gold and i got some answers from people. After that, i walked into "Slums house" where i got ambushed and killed the leader knowing i would get the "FINGER-BONE" i didn't and i've been trying to find a way around this for about 2 days now. i re-talked to everyone even went to the door and found nothing. and i even re-entered the house to make sure i wasnt missing anything. But... not even a single skeleton remains.I'm on the XBOX 360 version not PC. so if anyone can help please please help.Dragon Age: Origins FINGER-BONE HELP!?
Before you kill the thugs in the slum house there is a dialogue option of threatening them into giving you the finger bone then you can kill them if you want so I guess you need to go to a previous save from before you killed them and make sure to get the finger bone first.Dragon Age: Origins FINGER-BONE HELP!?
Oh, gosh.
I haven't played in quite some time (probably should start another game)
but let's see if I have this right..
If you're referring to the place where the dwarfs reside then yeah.. it took me
awhile to find the finger-bone also. I believe that you have to find a group of
thugs [of some sort] underground, which leads into a guy's shop. Somewhere along
those lines, you'll find it.
\:
Wow.
That didn't help whatsoever, hahaa.
Sorry, maine. I thought I'd remember if I
started typing stuff out.. buuut.. I didn't.

Dragon Age II Main Plot Help! Act of Mercy is bugged?
I was playing DA 2 on my PC, i was doing Act of Mercy quest. I was supposed to go in for the Templar Sir Thrask and kill the mages and stuff in there then come out and tell him. Well when i came out i decided to fight them, so i fought and killed them all but i cant complete the quest because the girl just says something along the lines of "i dont wanna talk where templars may here". I have checked every inch of the area and there are no more templars. Sir Thrask is also gone and i cannot find him anywhere, iv searched almost every area. I would REALLY appreciate some help because i dont have a save before that pointDragon Age II Main Plot Help! Act of Mercy is bugged?

Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
I'm looking for a new RPG game to take up my time for the remainder of the summer and I was curious: Should I start off with Origins and then move on to DA 2? I've heard that Origins was far more enjoyable, and it got much better reviews.
Seeking advice from people that have played both games only, please.
Thank you!
ps- Playing on the PC. The last RPG I played was Oblivion: Elder Scrolls, which I very much enjoyed.Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Just play Dragon Age II it is so much better than the first and origins combined. Much better story lines, gameplay, and controls IMO
First one is a better overall game. Which is why its ratings overall are about a 9.75 and the second ones are around 7.
Anyway, other guy is kind of a lousy gamestop employee if he recommends this. If you have access to the first one play it first, and the expansion. They introduce characters that are in the second one, and give you the grounding in the world you need to fully appreciate and understand all the aspects of the story and the world. Game play is far more challenging and its a longer game as well.Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
i myself have played both and would agree that yes your should start with origins because it was one of the best RPGS i have played and would help you to get the story of the second, however skyrim is comingout soon
Yes! but get dragon age origins ultimate edition!!! its really amazing!Should I play Dragon Age Origins before I Play Dragon Age II?
Yes of course you should. Mr. I work at gamestop doesn't know much about gaming. Dragon Age Origins is a great game, better reviewed than 2 by far, and contains chracters and information needed to understand DA2. If you do not play DA Origins, you will not at all understand the ending of DA2. Its not explained in DA2, you will just be lost. DA Origins is absolutely essential for story reasons.art games red robin menu

well processor and memory are fine, so it depends on wat graphic card u have, if its good , u should be able to run the game on medium graphics, but to be sure, check this site http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/sr鈥?/a> , just select dragonage from dropdown menu and press CAN YOU RUN IT, it will also ask you to install a program, but it isnt harmfull
edit: oke u have same graphics as me, this means itll (game) run perfect on ur Lap, u even have better procesor than me, I run Dragon Age on max and i have Core 2 Duo E4600 and it runs fine, well on some ocasions it throws me out of game, but only when i run other programs that leech the procesor, it should not happen to you....enjoy game, fellow RPGerCan my laptop run Dragon Age origins? and how well?
You should be able to run, but not on the highest settings due to the integrated graphics.

Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening?
Right, so i have 2 questions:
1. I noticed that on Pc, whilst i shoot a bow, it does take some time to use skills such as Pinning shot or Scatter shot, whilst on xbox its almost instant, im not sure whether its my pc's performance, or whether i dont have awakening expansion or not, but does anyone know why this is so?
2. After a while of playing i get very long load times, i still havnt found a fix for it yet, and it has been goin on for ages, ive been looking on internet for a long time, but no resolve yet, anyone know any solutions?Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening?
I've had both of those things happen. I just figured, that for the first one, using a skill takes a longer time than an automatic shot. Maybe there's a difference in the two consoles on how it's played.
On the second part, it's a fairly easy fix. Just save, exit the game completely, and open it again. It should be back up to speed, but I still have no idea what causes it. I suppose it does help a little. It keeps you saving often enough. (though it is a pain)xbox 360 utah weather

Dragon age origins what console?
I'm trying to decide whether I should get this game on xbox or PC. PC seems like it would be alot better for this type of game but I don't know if my computer is good enough to make it worthwhile. Here are the specs:
VISTA MINIMUM SPECS
* OS: Windows Vista with SP1
* CPU: Intel Core 2 (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
* RAM: 1.5 GB or more
* VIDEO: ATI Radeon X1550 256MB or greater
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT 256MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space
RECOMMENDED SPECS
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz Processor or equivalent
* RAM: 4 GB (Vista) or 2 GB (XP)
* VIDEO: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
AMD Phenom II X3 Triple-Core 2.8 GHz or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space
And here are mine:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ (2 CPUs) ~2.0GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Display Device:
Name: 128MB ATI Radeon X1300
DAC Type: Internal DAC (400MHz)
Approx. Total Memory: 890 MB
Do you think the game would run well enough for it to be worth it to get it for PC rather then Xbox 360?Dragon age origins what console?
PC...just buy yourself an HD4770 (with 512mb of GDDR) for $100(US) or so, and a 1gb stick of RAM (about $20 or less). Your X1300 is on-board, so you're loosing the 128mb that it "has" from your system memory.
The 2.0 dual core you're using will limit you in part, but the X1300 chipset and the fact you have a total of 1gb of memory (and it wants a bare bones minimum or 1.5gb) will in general, likely prevent you from playing.
The upgrades I've mentioned, while placing the game far above the extra $10 to play on X-box (even with the added cost of LIVE), will aid you in future with other programs...
Good Luck!Dragon age origins what console?
I don't think your computer is good enough to get the most out of the game.Dragon age origins what console?

I have picky parents, what pc game should i get?
I have games like black ops and oblivion. I want to get Dragon age 2 but my but my mom wouldn't let me because it said it has "Sexual content". That is the only thing my parents are not ok with. Could you give me any suggestions on a game that my parents would let me buy. I like FPS and RPGs. Also is the game has mass murder of people my parents won't approve of it either.I have picky parents, what pc game should i get?
I would say get Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2 Bad Company or wait and get Battlefield 3 in November. Seriously I like the BF2 crowd much better than Halo, or really any other big game franchise FPS. Main reason being T-baggers are frowned upon(At least on the servers I play on) and get kicked or we kill them enough they leave. They also seem less aggressive making game play more fun for everyone.I have picky parents, what pc game should i get?
Spore is a very large and expansive game its more cartoon style but its a very large rpg game were you evolve and design your creature from cell stage all the way to space stage. The goal is to survive evolve and then in some way take over the galaxy. you need internet to play but it constantly updates and adds new creaturesI have picky parents, what pc game should i get?
I would tell them for fallout it is a game of survival and its right after wars. You get to kill but its for survival. Or unreal those are fun. No Sexual content.
I would say Fallout 3 but even though it has no nudity in it, it still says sexual themes on the game case.

New Dragon Age Origins?
Couple questions about the game. 1. Is it an RPG like oblivion/mass effect (different time period obviously) 2. Is it an MMORPG? 3. What system do you suggest getting it for, 360 or PC? Thanks, easy 10 points!New Dragon Age Origins?
1. Yes it is an rpg and it is in the medieval times.
2. There is a single player campaign that will get most of the attention, but i am pretty sure they are putting in online play. I am not sure if the online play is cooperative or deathmatch style.
3. I would suggest getting it for 360 because then you will be able to get any DLC that comes out for it.
Hope i helped, the game looks great.New Dragon Age Origins?
Yes it is an RPG
No it is not an MMORPG, but probably will feature multilayer but not massively ballplayer,
The 360 will probably run it better unless you have a kickass pc. And it will have plenty of DLC.And if you played Mass effect/Oblivion on the 360 then id suggest the 360. But if you like playing games on the pc and like extras, cheats and mods that might equal the DLC, then pc.
Im going to get it for the 360, since it will run MUCH better than on my pc.

My recent gameplay on my PC has been choppy, what are some upgrades I could use?
Im a bit more knowledgeable on this topic than i make myself sound. Even though I read into it, I still feel confused by the ever changing gaming PC benchmarks. I just received Dragon Age Origins, and I cant get a higher framerate than 15 during gameplay.
Here are my current specs
Nvidia GeForce 6600 512mb
Pentium D 3.20 ghz (dual core)
2 Gigs 667 mhz RAM
Also, I'm unsure of the exact specs for my mobo, i know asus manufactures, but im not sure of the bus speed or any of that. 1 PCI Express slot, thats all i know.My recent gameplay on my PC has been choppy, what are some upgrades I could use?
It would probably be best to upgrade both your graphics card and your processor.
Depending on how much you want to spend you can go multiple routes fairly inexpensively for both components.

Will downloading a pc game demo from bittorrent harm my computer in any way?
i am downloading the dragon age 2 demo from BitTorrent which i just downloaded. i am going to delete bittorrent after it is finished but will it harm my computer during the download? the download is 1.9 gb if that mattersWill downloading a pc game demo from bittorrent harm my computer in any way?
Bittorrent is a Peer to Peer (P2P) file sharing networking program. It has NOTHING to do with games or anything harmful. WHERE do you people GET this stuff? Or is it just that you REALLY are that paranoid? It is what is INSIDE the files you download that you should be afraid of! It is the CONTENTS which can be infected with a virus. Bittorrent by itself is nothing more than a private networking application, a way to share files and transfer copies back and forth with others running the same client software. Will downloading a pc game demo from bittorrent harm my computer in any way?
The technology is not itself harmful, and there are legitimate uses for it. But there are @$$holes who seed binaries infected with malware on torrent sites. Just a fact of life.
So, technically, yes - there is some risk involved in getting executables from a torrent site.
Next question for you: WTF are you doing BitTorrenting a FREE demo you can download without worrying about viruses from the BioWare site? Will downloading a pc game demo from bittorrent harm my computer in any way?
The question has to be whether the program is legit or malware. If it's malware then it will hurt. Getting software from someone whose honesty you cannot determine means there is no a priori way to determine if there is malware hidden in it. It depends on how smart they are.

The question has to be whether the program is legit or malware. If it's malware then it will hurt. Getting software from someone whose honesty you cannot determine means there is no a priori way to determine if there is malware hidden in it. It depends on how smart they are.
Can my PC run Battlefield Bad Company 2?
Battlfield 1942, 2, and special forces were my favorite multiplayer shooters ever. Way better than the call of duties in my opinion. I really want to play the new one, but I'm not sure if my 3 year old laptop can handle it....
My Laptop Rig:
Asus G1S (almost 3 years old, but in great shape)
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz
3 GB RAM (I upgraded from 2GB)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (build 7600), 32-bit
NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 7700 (considered a class 3 video card by notebookcheck.net)
160 GB hard drive
I went to http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/intro.aspx to find out, and they said only my Video Card falls short. Before I got too sad, I tried a few games that I have successfully run on this very laptop, like Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins, and Crysis (this was a little choppy on my computer, but I think I finally got it working smoothly), and they said that I would NOT be able to run them (again, b/c of my Video Card). The fact that I ran them just fine makes me hope I can do BFBC2...
How risky is it to buy the game? I don't mind playing on medium settings... graphics aren't the most important thing to me, within reason.
Thanks! Can my PC run Battlefield Bad Company 2?
"Way better than the call of duties in my opinion."
Blasphemy! I spend my entire 2008 playing CoD4. I do not think there's any other single game that I spent more time playing.
Anyway, I checked out the systems requirements and your graphics card is the only think that doesn't meet the minimum specifications. There was a PC beta available in February, but I guess you missed it. I would not be surprised if you can get it to run on your system, however, I strongly doubt it will run well.

Does anyone know of any good new pc games that are out?
Is it just me or is the PC games industry just going down the pan? I was expecting HAWX 2 and Fable 3 in the last month and both have been postponed or may never reach the PC now.
Its a total joke that PC gamers are being ignored. Dragon Age 2 and Witcher 2 are way off I have played literally every RPG I know and see so many good ones on the PS3.Does anyone know of any good new pc games that are out?
I can see what you mean PC gaming is being forced to the background i actaully had trouble trying to recal some decent PC games
I'll list some games which i think are better on PC you may have missed some
Fallout 3
Fallout Vegas
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3 (a year away but if you liked the first two this one should be great)
Elder Scrolls IV
Elder Scrolls V
Shogun 2 Total War is supposed to be out very soon, as long as its more like Medieval 2 it should be very good
Minecraft!! You need this game in your life!
I've been playing it for months now and it's just gone into Beta stage, it only like 15 euros atm so it's well worth the money. It's like a survival sandbox game but there is a ridiculous amount of construction and destruction involved in order to build anything your mind can think of. The graphics are.... well... a bit rubbish but texture packs are available for free. But the game play makes up for this. Single player or multiplayer it's far too much and i spend hours playing it. Build anything from a little mud hut just to get you through the first night which is when bad things copme out to play. to massive gravity defying houses in the sky.
I got into the game by stumbling across a series about it on youtube from Bluexephos they show you how to play and Very entertaining to watch also.Does anyone know of any good new pc games that are out?
Try World Of WarCraft. I've been a player for 2 1/2 years now and the newest edition Cataclysm has just come out for those players that are dedicated in the game. It's versitile and has many professions to complete, quests to venture into, multiple toons to select from...etc.
yes amnesia its creepy as heck u feel like ur in the unknown not knowing is there a monster there or no feeling confused not able to fight monsters just running its soo realistic it attracts it to u from the very beggining
the game is availabe in steam for 19.99$Does anyone know of any good new pc games that are out?
Not necesarrily new, but you should try the Left 4 Dead series, Team Fortress 2, CoutnerStrike Source, and anything that's dirt cheap on steam.
Fallout 3 and oblivion are probably the best rpgs out there. There is also a new elder scrolls coming out in november which should be a great game
Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead series, Half-Life series, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat: Source, etc.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Scary as ****, just watch some of the videos on YouTube.

Will the witcher 2 work on my pc?
I have:
1. Intel core 2 quad CPU Q6700 2.66 GHz processor
2. 4 GB RAM
3. Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT graphics card with 512 mb dedicated graphics but 2 gb total graphics memory (not sure I understand the difference)
4. Running windows vista 64-bit
5. Games like mass effect 2, batman arkham asylum, assassin's creed 2, and dragon age 2 work fine (although a little slow at times)
So I bought and installed the witcher 2 but it runs super slow and lags a lot like if ur playing o line but have a bad connection, is this because of my graphics card or something else? If so which graphics card should I get? Could directx have something to do with it?Will the witcher 2 work on my pc?
When playing games on a PC always read the system requirements.
Graphics: GeForce 8800 (512 MB) or Radeon HD3850 (512 MB)
The Geforce 8800 is much faster than the 8600 GT. When the 8-series came out an 8600 was a mid-range gaming card, the 8800 was a high-end gaming card.
Your other specs look fine so if you just buy a graphics card that meets the recommended requirements (GeForce 260 or Radeon HD 4850 ) you should be able to run it pretty well.
About your fifth point: Just because you can run these games doesn't guarantee you can run The Witcher 2. Mass Effect 2 and Batman run on the Unreal 3 engine and aren't demanding games. The Witcher 2 is a graphically advanced game that demands much more power than the games you listed. Will the witcher 2 work on my pc?
That's weird, it should be working fine. Is your computer just for gaming or not?

Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. Is there a good and evil system in the game like previous Bioware titles and Fable. Can your eyes glow red?
2. Are the PC achievements different from the Xbox and PS3 Trophies? I saw someone on the Bioware with the signature "Unstoppable'' Achievement Unlocked. I guess this is for clearing the game on Nightmare.Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. There is no good/evil system, just friendship and rivalry with your companions. Though sometimes, your responses to previous conversions can unlock special ones down the line. It could be if you acted sarcastic or aggressive, etc.
2. All of them have the same achievements/trophies, except for the platinum trophy for the PS3 version (gain all other trophies in the main game). And the other person is incorrect, it's not for making it to Kirkwall without anyone being knocked down, it's for not having anyone knocked down in a single Act (period of gameplay between two sets of long periods of time, these periods are just fast forwarded with Varric's storytelling).Regarding Dragon Age II?
1. no there is no good or evil system just friend and rivalry with followers
2. unstoppable is for getting to kurkwall with out anyone passing out

Which game should i buy for pc?
I have narrowed it down to left 4 dead 2, Borderlands, and Dragon age Origins. Which do you think is the best game/most bang for your buck?
ps they would all be played on a pc.Which game should i buy for pc?
Supposing you have a powerful enough computer here is the breakdown of each game:
Left 4 dead 2: Its meant to be played and encourages coop but its fun all on your own as well. If you enjoyed the first then you will surely enjoy the second.
Borderlands: This game is awesome in my opinion but there is a big drag to it. That is: it sucks if you play alone. Other than that this game would be the number one choice. A bunch of weapons, huge landscapes and a bunch of different abilities with 4 different characters. Its a really good way to spend the weekend, but only if you have some buddies with you.
Dragon Age Origins: This game is epic. Great storytelling, awesome characters, and beautiful visuals make this an awesome 1 player game. If you want a Very good single player game that will make you care about the story and fates of its characters while still having a fun combat system this game is for you.
Those are all in my opinion i own two of the games except for left 4 dead 2 (for obvious reasons) and those are just my 2 cents.
When in doubt you can look up the reviews at sites like:

left 4 dead 2 BY A LONGSHOT!!!Which game should i buy for pc?
Well, know one can tell you what you should get. Especially since they are all unique. Left 4 dead, you would be better off buying it for the xbox 360, unless of course you don't have one. L4D2 has a lot fewer zombies on the screen on the pc than the xbox 360. But it is still a gore fest. Borderlands is a really unique game, mostly because the way it looks. To me it has this comic feel to it. I don't know a lot about it besides a pretty good RPG. I would say the best choice for ME(since I can't choose 4 you) would be Dragon Age: Origins. A great looking RPG with customizable options. I love those type of games. Swords are better to me because they seem more manly. Those were my opinions.
