Difficulty Starting Dragon Age 2 Demo For PC?

I have successfully downloaded the demo for my PC and uploaded it onto the system, but when I open the demo and the starting window appears and I select Play, it states that it is unable to work and shows me this message

'This application has failed to start bacause d3dx9_43.dll was not found.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem'

As far as I am aware my system reaches all the demo requirements but I do not understand what

The clue is the "dx" in the file name.

d3dx9_43.dll is a file included in Direct X. Go to the Microsoft download site and download and install the latest version of Direct X that your system will support. I will warn you that the Demo of DA2 does not fully support Direct X 11, so you may still get some glitches after installing (or reinstalling). Looks liek your file is part of Dirext X 9 ("dx9").

DO NOT ever download random .dll files from some site you find online. Get the full Direct X binaries from Microsoft.
