Portal 2 is a must. The first was one of the best games released to date, and the second one is going to be very interesting.
I wouldn't recommend DA2 since you didn't play the first. If you have a PC, then why don't you check out the first Crysis? It should be quite cheap by now.
If you get any of these, get them on PC.
dragon age orgins was an epic game somthing like 6* novels worth of text and context (theese things you can collect which give a back ground of stuff not too sure)
good gamplay although the 2nd one is different layout and looks good recommended ps3 since it be on one disc or on xbox 360 probs 2 or 4 discs

It all depends on what you want. You want the greatest fps ever made with the best graphics ever- it's crysis 2 all the way!! But if you want a super unique puzzle go with portal. And if you want a deep rpg with good story go dragon age...
But really... Get crysis 2.
I just played the dragon age 2 demo and it was AMAZING! Also i am a huge fan of crytek so i will probably get crysis 2 and dragon age... as for portal 2 i really liked portal one, but i dont really want portal 2 for some reason....Portal 2 vs dragon age 2 vs crysis 2?
I vote Dragon Age, but most people love Portal more.
Portal is necessary and with a PC.
