Dragon age 2 question?

I walked into a trap and myself and another member of my party were "injured". It prevents me from having full life. Since i am new to this game and usually i play rpgs on pc, finding it i little more difficult with ps3.

How do you heal an injury?Dragon age 2 question?
You use injury kits. They are in your inventory under potions. I'm sure you have at least a few, enemies drop them all the time. I don't use a ps3 but I assume you access it like any other potion.Dragon age 2 question?
I think you just need to use Healing spells, usually you yourself will have to get this skill build or someone else in your party has to have it.Dragon age 2 question?

How to make Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition Install?

Hi,

For the past month and a half, I have been trying to install Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition on my PC.

Each time, the Installation process begins correctly, until it gets to this following line

Extract: packages\core\data\anims.erf

It freezes the installation at 22.1%, and stays there until I shut my

computer down an hour later from frustration that the install bar does

not change AT ALL.

I love Bioware, and I've never played a bad game, but the fact that I can't install one single game on my laptop is ridiculous.

It even says when I begin installing it that I have 370 GBs available for

use. And Dragon Age Origins takes 24.1, I see a problem here.

So please, if anyone has figured out how to fix this, let me know. I beg you.

My PC Specs are.....

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.20GHz

2186 MHz

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330

Driver Version: 6.10.6272.0

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

The disc is in good condition, no scratchs or marks. How to make Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition Install?
I'm no computer tech expert but you should be able to run the game just fine. As for the install problem, I know for a fact that it is a common problem with the ultimate edition version. I heard about it before I bought the game myself and was concerned I wouldn't be able to get it to work. I think it has something to do with the the type of disc they used to put the game on and how it can't be read by many drives. Fortunately there is a fix though it might be a pain.

First you need to register your copy of Dragon Age on the Bioware forums. You can follow the link below to get there. That's painless.

http://social.bioware.com

Here's the nasty part. Once that is done download and install the EA download manager. You then can download the game directly from the net when it's registered and should be able to get it installed no problem. The only catch with that is that it's a large download so expect it to take some time finish. When it's done you should be good to go!

You can check the link in the source for more info. There is also a link for the EA download manager there. Hopefully you can be able to play soon. Good luck!

Will dragon age 2 run on my computers specs?

I feel like a noob asking this, but ah well.

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 9800

and my processor is a AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad-Core Processor

Now heres the thing, my computer mostly meets the RECOMENDED requirements for DA2 (My cpu speed is down by about .6 GHZ) So it should run smoothly however dragon age origins has some problems with my computer. It tends to lag after more then 20 minutes of play time and sometimes to point of really making it suck, i dont know if the fact i pirated it has anything to do with it (Its justified piracy i think, i got the xbox version and it sucked compared to the PC) so what do you think, should my computer be able to run this game smoothly? Will dragon age 2 run on my computers specs?
Firstly, piracy is never justified, but I'm not here to lecture you about this.

Secondly, your graphic card is over-the-top. You won't have to worry about it.
As for your cpu speed, it's rather low -- 0.6 GHz is a lot. What you describe is known as memory leak, when a program is opened too long, it will cause lag. There are no solutions to this, besides closing everything else (since you only hit the recommended requirements for DA2) or restarting the game every 20 min (not a bad idea either, just very troublesome).

Lastly, if the above idea doesn't appeal to you, you can always turn off all the effects and set the settings to the lowest, then try playing again. Will dragon age 2 run on my computers specs?
I would say yes, Specs seem very reasonable and also download Reginout to improve performance.

Anyone else going crazy over how many good games are coming out?

I just picked up Borderlands for PC, Dragon Age is going to be out in another week, then Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, etc.

I'm only on the 2nd chapter of Uncharted, and the 2nd level of Dragon's Souls.

I feel like I'm going to lose it! :pAnyone else going crazy over how many good games are coming out?
Only going crazy over how I don't have enough money to buy them all. Guess that's what Christmas is for but it sucks having to wait two more months.

Can these games runs perfectly on my PC?

    GTA IV

    Hitman Blood Money

    Sims 3

    Dragon Age 2

    Here are my PC's spec:

    Intel Core i5-23002.8Ghz

    Dual-channel 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM 4GB RAM

NVIDIA庐 GeForce庐 GT 435 Graphics Card

(2GB Dedicated RAM)Can these games runs perfectly on my PC?
You will have to run GTA IV and Dragon Age II on lowest settings, because the GT 435 is a low-budget, non-gaming card. And those 2 games in particular are very demanding. Overall, it has pretty weak specs for a card, and thus isn't aimed at gamers. Hitman Blood Money should run on Medium, and the Sims on medium/high. You should at least be on an HD 5770 or GTX 460 nowadays, for games. You are going to experience ALOT of lag in games on with that card, period. High-end games on a low-end card never works out.
Go on a website called "can you run it?"

What are some good Mass Effect 2 PC mods and where can I find them?

Being the generous people Bioware are they're giving us a free download of Mass Effect 2 for buying Dragon Age II and I'm just curious what good mods are there for Mass Effect 2. I've googled some but not much luck as none really interest me. Are there any interesting that really stand out and where can I find them? Should I get Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PC or PS3?

I prefer Action RPGs like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc. on PC. Not to mention I am far better with FPS using a Mouse and Keyboard. However, I don't know whether Deus Ex is going to more hand to hand, i.e. Batman Arkham Asylum, which I think a controller would be better for. Based on what I've seen and read it looks like it is more of a shooter with some hand to hand like Uncharted. So any help would be appreciated!

    PC specs are:

    AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor 2.51 GHz

    4 GB RAM

    Windows Vista 32 bit OS

    NVidia GeForce 9600 GT

Creative SB X-FiShould I get Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PC or PS3?
Its a good question. Im a ps3 %26amp; pc owner but my pc is past it now. And im totaly with you on using mouse+keyboard for fps.

If i had the choice id get it for pc easily. Will be cheaper too, which is always a bonus these days lol
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a worthy prequel to these games. If you like cybernetics, scifi, etc this is for you. While the game (so far ive only played for about 2 hours) has some minor issues (i found that the cover system isnt perfect or maybe its my playing style)I felt like this is a stroke of good luck for us gamers...with so many crap games coming out...Im looking forward to playing more of this.Should I get Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PC or PS3?

hello guys,i need your help,i'm not well experienced with my pc,but for some reasons i have to format my pc,but i have some problems,i'm playing prototype and dragon age on my pc,and i'm 75% finished in both games, and i have some other games playing through pcsx2 emulator also,i have xbmc on my pc,and i use ember media manager programe to manage my media,so how do i get all these things on my pc after formating,i mean is there anyway to get my game progress again installing after formating, and my managed media files,i need your help more than anything now,i have only 2 pendrives for this,2gb each. How to save my files before formating the pc?
External Hardrive is the way to go make sure you copy THE GAME SAVES first and keep it separate then if the game wont go back on reinstall it and just open the old save file, but before you do anything make sure you abosultey have to reformat and realize how much you would lose..... save what you want

    What game should I buy?

Okay I have narrowed the choice down to:

    Dragon age Origins (PC)

    Assassins creed 2 (Xbox 360)

Left 4 Dead 2 (PC or Xbox 360)

Note: If I get Left 4 Dead 2 on pc I will install it on 2 pc's and play lan (If I can). But if I get it on Xbox 360 I will have to play split screen or ocassionaly get live and play with another friend. What game should I buy?
I have played all so i will give you my ratings.

Dragon Age - 8/10 If you like RPG games then defiantly get this!

Assassins Creed 2 8/10 I have only just bought this one and so far im loving it, I just hope it doesn't get to repetitive like the first one.

L4D2 - 5/10 Didn't care for this game much, loved L4D1 but this one isn't much different and isn't worth the money IMO.

Hope this helps :DWhat game should I buy?
i have played assassins creed and i am not a big fan of the whole story line.

    Dragon age....(have no idea)

i have played left 4 dead so i would say that.(unless you have nightmares at night then do not get it)What game should I buy?
Personally I thought L4D2 was terrible and not worth the money, stick to L4D1. Asassins creed 2 doesnt have much play value, only worth renting for the storyline which is fair cool. Dragon Age provides a fairly long storyline and good DLC to add length to the already good gameplay.

All my mates love it anyway.

Why doesn't my Graphics card work with my PC?

I desperately want to play Dragon Age: Origins for PC. I have 2 options, buy a new PC that will run it or upgrade my current PC. I bought new RAM and a couple Graphics cards for my current PC, but only 1 Graphics card fit into the slot. The ONLY thing that is keeping me from slaying the archdemon is the fact that the Graphics Card's drivers wont install!

My PC is Windows Vista 32bit Compaq SR5109

My Graphics Card is a Nvidia Geforce 9300GS with five hundred and something MB of Video Memory.

Whenever I try to play Dragon Age it gives me this message "could not find a supported video card"

Whenever I try to install the drivers it gives me this message "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit". I don't know why it won't install! Ever since I put the Graphics Card into my PC it's been REALLY slow too... Does anyone know how I can install the drivers? I've tried the website, everything! =(Why doesn't my Graphics card work with my PC?
try going to the site and downloading the correct version or most come with disk for it try installing it from that.

make sure you have the correct os for the drivers.

Tribes 2 %26lt;--- Another awesome free game. Futuristic capture the flag with tons of classes, vehicles, and jetpacks. Kind of like the better version of Halo.

Those are some of my favorites. My girlfriend would recommend, Bioshock and Mass Effect. I'm sure you can probably run the first ones (not the sequels.)

If you have the patience to learn it, there's also a really fun WWII flight sim with multiplayer combat of up to like, 128 planes or something ridiculous. Get a joystick. You will have lots of fun, believe me. It's called IL 2: Sturmovik. You'll need to download a client program called "hyperlobby" for easy access to multiplayer servers.

Should i get Dragon Age for the Xbox or Ps3?

Well, ive played both Mass Effect 1 and 2 and loved them both for separate reasons. But now i want to try Dragon Age but alot of people say this is a game only meant for PC and my PC isnt capable of running games and i would only be able to buy it for Xbox or Ps3 if it is available. Do you think i should just buy it for Xbox or Ps3 or do you think the experience would be to terrible to play on one of those systems?Should i get Dragon Age for the Xbox or Ps3?
Dragon Age origins is an excellent game. The storyline is deep and nuanced, graphics are excellent and storytelling is dramatic and well written. Additionally, this edition gives you all the accompanying DLC to further expand the experience. Highly reommend this to any gamer who enjoys sword and sorcery type action/adventure. For achievement hunters, achievements are solidly challenging and varied. To get the full gamerscore would require either multiple playthroughs or keeping save files at particluar junctions of the game where you are required to make choices that lead to branching storylines / results.

    w
I think the Xbox would be better but that's because I own one and I've only played games meant for that system. This is a somewhat biased question since people can add their own opinion. I didn't Origins just because all you did was hit the attack button once and your character kept attacking your current target. You could use spells but those were just if your partners couldn't handle themselves.Should i get Dragon Age for the Xbox or Ps3?
Origins or Ultimate, whichever you prefer, it is undeniable that this game is one for the books. You'll spend days--literally, days--as the hero this Dragon Age Universe needs, and when it's all over, and the dust settles, there's either your DLC hero, or another Grey Warden walkthing into a new beginning...
dont get it. it sucks on both platforms. it's only good on the pc sorry. wait till skyrim, that is going to be an awesome console rpgShould i get Dragon Age for the Xbox or Ps3?
Either system is fine... they are pretty much the same console.

I have both and trust me they are the same thing.

    %26gt;Video Card?: Intel (R) 82915G/GV/910GL

That's not a video card... that's a chipset. A chipset differs from a card because:

    a) it's not a card... rather a collection of chips on a motherboard

    b) it has no memory of it's own, unlike dedicated cards which comes with dedicated VRAM

    c) it does no processing (very little anyway) -- it hands off the work to the CPU which has to bear the burden of running the game AND churning up the graphics. Which means bad performance

This means that Dragon Age will probably not run very well, if not at all, unless you get a dedicated video card.

By the looks of things your entire desktop is a bit too old for any recent games. Time for a new rig.Is my computer good enough to run Dragon Age Origins? I think my video card is outdated. Details are listed?

if your going to get a dragon age game, don't buy dragon age origins, because dragon age 2 comes out in 2 days, on the 8th. and a good mmorpg would be rift. dont get mw2, its gets old VERY fast.
Not Modern Warfare 2, there are no dedicated servers. And it's generally an inferior game compared to the others.

I'd get Starcraft if you like RTS, otherwise Dragon Age.

Assassin's Creed 2 vs. Left 4 Dead 2 vs. Dragon Age: Origins?

Alright so I want to get one of these games as they seen the funnest out of all the games that have/will be coming out. I have an Xbox 360 with Live btw.

Here is what I have against every game

Assassin's Creed 2 - I rented the first Assassin's Creed, it was hella fun but as soon as I finished it I had no intentions on just running around or replying the story. So I don't think there's any replay-ability in this game. I think it is worth just renting. Convice me that it's better if you think I'm wrong.

Left 4 Dead 2 - I've played the 1st one to the point where I got sick of all the 4 stories and the multiplayer, but I had a blast while it was fresh. I don't know if this one is different but convice me

Dragon Age - Heard it was a fun game with alot of replay-ability with a great story and awesome fun, but the only problem I've heard was that it wasn't as good on the consoles as it is on PC. If anyone has it for Xbox, let me know what you think about it.

So which one do you think I should buy, convince me.Assassin's Creed 2 vs. Left 4 Dead 2 vs. Dragon Age: Origins?
I would definitely go with Assassin's Creed 2. The developers at Ubisoft have fixed or removed all of the things that made AC1 repetitive or boring. So you get

    - To Swim ;)

    - Day / Night Cycle

    - Bonus Missions

    - Many Varying Primary Mission Types

    - Hire Gangs, Thieves and even prostitutes to distract Guards

    - Now there are many different types of guards, providing more challenging combat (i think theres a regular guard, archer, these agile guards that can climb stuff like you, and the big, muscle guys and these guards that will try to stab haystacks with halberds when you jump into them =P)

    - Economic System (you can buy stuff from shops now :D)

    - Unarmed Combat has been improved alot, so you can do alot of cool combos with your fists, and steal enemies weapons and use them against them

    - Lots of Weapons (you can now buy lots of cool stuff from the shops including swords, halberds, daggers, maces, Smoke bombs, and even new armour)

    - Character Customization (i hear you can dye some parts of Ezio's assassin clothing to suit your taste)

    - Amazing areas to explore throughout the game

    - Realistic crowds and people in the streets

I'm sure there's Hellz of more stuff in AC2 but i would definitely recommend buying it to see for yourself :D
I would have to say, Left 4 Dead 2.

Because Left 4 Dead 2 will feature new game modes and more campaigns which won't bore you like before. Also i bet they will be adding new dlc soon after its realeased.Assassin's Creed 2 vs. Left 4 Dead 2 vs. Dragon Age: Origins?
Ive never played dragon age, but it looks really good! I'd personally go with assassins creed 2, it looks amazing. The first one was brilliant aswell. (:
left 4 dead is my first Choice and assassin's creed is secondAssassin's Creed 2 vs. Left 4 Dead 2 vs. Dragon Age: Origins?
left 4 dead 2 i heard it better than the first one try ull like it
Assassin's Creed 2 is basically fixing EVERYTHING that was wrong with Assassins Creed 1.

Left 4 Dead 2, I got the Demo, I didn't particularly like it. I say you just wait and get that for PC. More modability and more fun.

Dragon Age- I heard it was really good and pretty long, and really fun. However, I also think it would be better on PC.

I say go for Assassin's Creed 2, get the other two for PC assuming your PC can handle them.
Im going to have to go with Dragon Age. Great game play especially if you like rpgs, It has great replay ability. What makes the game fun is not only the battles you and your party go through, but the choices you get to make with each individual character. It builds the story and when you make different choices through different playbacks you get different results.

As far as Left for dead 2- i think it will be a good game but at a certain point it gets a little boring shooting zombies.

Assassins Creed 2 - Well this game might be awesome but i never liked the first one. I got bored after 20 minutes but thats just me.

I guess i just like the way your free to make decisions in dragon age and not tied down to the story that is written for you in most other games. Have fun making the choice =P

Will it run smoothly (without lag) and still look aesthetically-pleasing? I have Sims 3 installed; will that conflict with/slow down other games? I don't think so, but just to be safe...

i have dragon age 2 for pc n i wont to add the new dlc the exiled prince but i dont know how to install them and i know it can be doneHow to add add-ons to copied pc games?
Uh, what exactly do you mean with a copied game?

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to register with the BioWare Social Network to download the DLC you have bought (I think you need an account for buying anything too?)? At least that's the case with the first Dragon Age game. You log in with your BioWare account in-game and it should start downloading and installing the DLC automatically.

Perhaps it's different with the second game, but that's just my two cents.

Is Dragon Age: Origins closer to Baldur's Gate (1/2) or Neverwinter Knights?

Dragon Age: Origins is supposed to be a "spiritual successor" to the Baldur's Gate series. I love Baldur's Gate 1 %26amp; 2, and would probably enjoy Dragon Age: Origins if it feels similar. However, I did not enjoy Neverwinter Knights. For me, it was too repetitive and linear, and lacked the charm (characters, quests, environments, etc.) of Baldur's Gate 1 %26amp; 2.

My question: Is Dragon Age: Origins more similar to the Baldur's Gate games, or Neverwinter Knights? (BTW, this is regarding the PC version.)Is Dragon Age: Origins closer to Baldur's Gate (1/2) or Neverwinter Knights?
It's a lot more like Baldur's gate. You have more freedom to define your character and interact with the world and NPCs than neverwinter.

    -Windows XP

-AMD Sempron 140 Processor 2.71 GHz

i know it says i need at least an Athlon 64 X2, but i have installed and played other games with a minimum requirment of Athlon 64 X2 and they run pretty well, the only reason they sometimes lag is because i only have 1GB of RAM..Can a PC with AMD Sempron Processor run Dragon Age: Origins?
According to steam, it should be able to run it without problems, (Just don't make the graphics/details high, as your system probably won't be able to do it) Only problem I'm concerned about is your ram. Dragon Age: Origins requires 1 gb of ram, and since you only have 1 gb ram, I'm not sure it's gonna run flawlessly. You might experience a few freezes here and there, but I can't say for sure! But your CPU/Graphics card, should be able to do it without problems. So I guess, you can only hope for the best with the ram :)

I know this didn't help you that much, but well there isn't much to say when a game needs 1 gb of ram, and you only have 1 gb of ram. :p Anyways, I hope I helped somehow! :D

  • Should i get dragon age origins or wait for mass effect 2?

only have enough for 1 so which is better oh and it is for my pc

thank youShould i get dragon age origins or wait for mass effect 2?
Wait for Mass Effect 2 or wait for Starcraft 2 if you want one that is truly fun and addictive.

Mass Effect (2), Dragon age, and Alpha protocol?

    ...answer these seperately:

    dragon age VS. Alpha protocol

Mass effect 2 VS. dragon age

the thing is, i dont know if i should save the 20 dollars (that i would buy mass effect with) and get Dragon age origins, or if i should hop on the Mass Effect "wagon" and get mass effect 2 for christmas (pre-order)...im kinda thinking that alpha protocol is out of the picture, so if it was up to : Mass Effects (1 and 2) VS. Dragon Age: Origins....what do you think i should get...the thing i find cool about DA:O is that the pc users will get a thing to make mods and share them...Mass Effect (2), Dragon age, and Alpha protocol?
If the only thing you find cool about Dragon Age: Origins is the idea of mods then that game is probably not for you. Have you even looked at some of the videos, pictures, and other info about the game? It looks amazing. I agree with the answerer above me, have you played Baulder's Gate or Champions of Norrath? DA:O looks like it will be a next gen version of those.Mass Effect (2), Dragon age, and Alpha protocol?
They will all decrease in price rapidly, Mass Effect is more anticipated for the 360 fan. Get Dragon Age cheaper on PC. Also only get Dragon Age if you like other games like Champions, Titan Quest etc.

Help with Dragon Age 2 cheat codes.?

Ok I just got Dragon Age 2 the other day and decided its time to start using cheat codes (PC version) and when i went into the game file settings so i could change "OpenConsole_0=" line to "OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_`" i couldn't find it in there. Hope someone could give me some instructions on where to find it in there that would be great thanks.Help with Dragon Age 2 cheat codes.?
Have you tried to change "OpenConsole_0" to "OpenConsole_1"?
    0 = Disabled
    1 = Enabled

EDIT: Nevermind that, bellow that command there should be one that enables the console, it already has the "1" in it, thats the one you shold add the key to make the console appear.

Portal 2 vs dragon age 2 vs crysis 2?

i can only get one and i really enjoyed portal 2 but i didnt play dragon age origins or crysis but they both look very good, and do you recommend it for pc or xbox 360Portal 2 vs dragon age 2 vs crysis 2?
Portal 2 is a must. The first was one of the best games released to date, and the second one is going to be very interesting.

I wouldn't recommend DA2 since you didn't play the first. If you have a PC, then why don't you check out the first Crysis? It should be quite cheap by now.

If you get any of these, get them on PC.
dragon age orgins was an epic game somthing like 6* novels worth of text and context (theese things you can collect which give a back ground of stuff not too sure)

good gamplay although the 2nd one is different layout and looks good recommended ps3 since it be on one disc or on xbox 360 probs 2 or 4 discs

    But really... Get crysis 2.
I just played the dragon age 2 demo and it was AMAZING! Also i am a huge fan of crytek so i will probably get crysis 2 and dragon age... as for portal 2 i really liked portal one, but i dont really want portal 2 for some reason....Portal 2 vs dragon age 2 vs crysis 2?

get dragon age . it is one of the best games ive ever played with a fantastic and gripping story. the pc version is the best and the framerate on the ps3 isnt so great(but playable). you can put in well over 40 hours of gameplay and has many dlcs. the game is awesome and will keep you entertained for months.

hope that helps:)Should i get sacred 2 or dragon age?
dragon age is a million times better than sacred 2 in every possible way, you can even purchase dragon age origins ultimate edition for a cheap price and it comes with the original game and all the extras which is 8 dlc packs.

Does dragon age 2 have monthly fees for xbox 360?

ive been wondering cuz i thought there was for pc, cuz if there is thats just absolute bull to charge extra if its online.Does dragon age 2 have monthly fees for xbox 360?
    No.

You would only have to buy the Microsoft Xbox Live Gold membership if you want to use the online features or get DLC.

There are no Xbox 360 games that charge a monthly fee for playing online. There are only two reasons why you would pay for online use...

    1. Buying an Xbox Live Gold membership which gives you access to ALL online features for ALL games plus extra stuff like friends, chat, facebook, Netflix (you have to have a Netflix account, tho), ESPN3, etc. The biggest advantage to this is the online play with others. It's $59.99 a year and well worth it.

    2. There are some newer games now (EA sports games specifically) that if you buy them used, you may have to pay a one-time fee of $10 to get their game-specific online pass. If you buy the game new, you get the online pass for free.Does dragon age 2 have monthly fees for xbox 360?
to my knowledge no it doesnt at all it only cost when u buy dlc

Ok i was Wondering, I have played Dragon Age 2 on Xbox 360 But was

wondering if i Played it on

Pc Would the attacking Be the same or will it just be like Dragon age: Origins (select a Enemy and and then use Skill/spell) Please Respond. ^_^Dragon Age 2 Game Style?
Action/Adventure Hack and Slash.great gameDragon Age 2 Game Style?
What I like about DA2 is that on "nightmare" mode it plays a lot like Origins. Spells will hit allies, and the enemies are numerous enough and tough enough that tactical pausing is a must. This is my experience with my PC copy of the game. When I played it at lower difficulties I was able to play it more as an action game. I prefer the more tactical play style. The lower difficulties were far too easy. I don't know if its the same on the console copies.Dragon Age 2 Game Style?
I don't know what is it like on Xbox but on Pc It is different from Origins. It is more action based, kind of hack and slash but of course still have skills but it is much simpler to use them (also not that many) and don't really have to pause the game

    Dragon Age: Origins

This is a game I can see myself putting a lot of hours into. Unlike more recent Bioware games, the story should take a modest 60 hours to delve through from start to finish, not including repeat playthroughs if you hope to see all the content in the game. I consider this game a worthwhile investment and I strongly encourage you to pick it up.

Get dragon age origins. It has over 40 hours of gameplay if you speed through the game and you also can make a different character and each time you play you have a different experience. I have both games and I say that Dragon Age Origins is better, longer, and the better deal.

Bioshock 2 is still good though but trust me, get Dragon Age Origins.Bioschock 2 or Dragon age orgins?
Dragon Age definitely it has over 200+ hours of gameplay because you can start new charactors and play a completley different game. It also has a lot of dlc already out and more to come soon. It is definitley a roleplaying game. You cant play online.

    Good luck with the choice

Dragon Age 2 The Exiled Prince DLC Download?

    Hello,

I just wanted to ask if the "The Exiled Prince" downloadable content for dragon age 2 is free or if I have to pay for it - I'm an xbox360 user (If so, how much MSP will it cost?). Also, are other systems like PS3 and PC able to get the content for free?

Thanks in advanceDragon Age 2 The Exiled Prince DLC Download?
Your able to Download the Dragon Age 2 The Exiled Prince DLC for Free, if you follow the Instructions on the site I put in my source.

Try out the site below to get free Dragon Age 2 The Exiled Prince DLC codes which, in your chase, you'll be able to redeem at the xbox live marketplace. There are PS3 Codes and some installer for PC included though.

Have fun!Dragon Age 2 The Exiled Prince DLC Download?
Dragon Age 2: Exiled Prince DLC

The Exiled Prince will be free with pre-orders of the game's Signature Edition and after launch for $7.00/560 MS points.

Should i buy Dead Space 2 or Dragon Age 2?

i Personally would love to get dead space 2 but looking at the trailers dragon age 2 also looks awesome, i have one query though, is dragon age 2 as good on the PS3 as it is on the PC? im not bothered on witch comes out first but i would love to know other peoples opinions on this thanks!

PS: i do have PS3 if anyone wants to know lol :DShould i buy Dead Space 2 or Dragon Age 2?
I can't really tell you what to buy, only my own opinion and I would go with Dragon Age 2. I really liked both Dead Space and DA:O, but I'm not going to shell out for both sequels. Personally I will be going for Dragon Age. The thing is though, they are very different games. One is a survival horror which benefits from throwing you into a claustrophobic, linear environment, whereas the other is a wide open RPG with a world to explore, with side quests and an in depth level of character customisation. Not the sort of games that are comparable. In the end it comes down to your choice, which of the original games did you prefer and which style of game would you rather be playing. Over the shoulder horror shooter, or RPG?
Dragon age will give you a very wide range in story line and tons of play time. I would go with Dragon age. = )

I'm not too sure about PC because i've never played any games with PC.Should i buy Dead Space 2 or Dragon Age 2?
    Dead Space 2
bothShould i buy Dead Space 2 or Dragon Age 2?
    Alrighty then,

Edit: I really like DA on my ps3 but I didn't play it on pc, I'm sure pc is a tad but better for spell selection and whatnot but, it is certainly good on consoles too!

First thing first, I believe Dead Space 2 arrives on US stores first it's release date is January 25, 2011.

    I think Dragon Age 2 arrives Febuary 2, 2011. (not 100% sure)

Now, it all depends on what ur looking for in a game, They both will probably have outstanding storylines. Reviews say that Dead Space 2 has a phenomenal story. As you may know it is a survival/horror/action game and it should be downright creepy (if anything like Dead Space) Dead Space 2 also includes a multiplayer component aswell it's left4dead-esque.

Dragon Age 2 on the other hand will probably have a great story (though I prefer DS2) DA2 is no doubtedly going to be a LONG game. As you know it's an action/rpg. Honestly I'd say DA2 would indeed be a better purchase in the long run because it will have more replayability (though, no multiplayer to my knowledge well idk if you can have online players in your party???) with all of the options it gives you like Quests, Character, Part members, weapons, spells, and a boatload more... So, with DS2 you will probably spend like 20-odd hours on the story (maybe more maybe less) DA2 will have over 50+ hours on dragon age depending on how u play.

So, the choice is your, IMO I'll pick up both but will probably play DS2 more because I love it's style and whatnot.

Goodluck my friend, and Game On!

Dragon age 2 good or Not good?

Hi. i am looking for a new game for my PC all my friend told me to get Dragon Age 2 but none of them have played it so is it good or noDragon age 2 good or Not good?
Dragon Age 2 is well considered and cannily crafted. It cleverly keeps a sprawling decade-long story on a personal level by grounding players with a family to care for, as well as characters and friends that continue to resurface over the course of the story. It's this half of Dragon Age 2 which we like the most, as it gives you the opportunity to meet genuinely interesting characters such as Fenris, an escaped amnesiac slave with lyrium tattoos and a lust for killing wizards.
Oh yeah man the game is excellent. I donloaded it and i cant stop playing it. Your first time playing it will be amazing because its all new and very very interesting. There is so much you can do and there are hidden secrets in which you can find and unlock. Email me if you want a walkthrough i will help you out, when i first played i missed so much fun stuff that i missed out. The only downfall about this game is that you cant play online with others =(. Recommend you get it though.

you need to open your inventory screen and drag your potions that you want to use into the use slots around your character

If you have 5 items that you've completely used up, they still occupy slots on your in-battle list of 5. You have to force the change through your inventory screen

Why Can't I Specialize My Class In Dragon Age 2?

I just hit lv14 and I had this problem at 7 as well. When I got my first point, no new tree showed up or anything what so ever indicating I can use my two points and its happened again. You didn't use the console to mod your character class, did you? That's the only thing I can think of. When you are playing a normal game (PC) you should see the specialization trees, even though you can't use them yet.

They should not appear after level 7 or 14, they are always there, just without points assigned to them. Another thought would be if you acquired the game in the uhm... "non-traditional" way, let's call it.Why Can't I Specialize My Class In Dragon Age 2?

Dragon Age for Xbox360, or wait for PC?

My computer right now can not handle it I know that for a fact, but I'm getting a new computer in about 2-3 weeks.

Is it worth waiting until I get my new computer to buy it for PC or would I get basically the same playing experience out of the xbox360 version?Dragon Age for Xbox360, or wait for PC?
well on the pc you will have addons and you can micromanage everything , but i for one prefer the Xbox 360 version cos it feels more action oriented when you play it. So basically i think your choice should be based on the way you want to play the game , also i should mention that on the xbox i'm playing it from the dvd its not instaled on HDD and still didn't see the game slow down no mater how much action was happening on screenDragon Age for Xbox360, or wait for PC?
I think you should wait because DA is typical modern RPG and you could milk more gameplay from the pc.Dragon Age for Xbox360, or wait for PC?
You should choose one console to play on. And only one
i say wait for the PC version because PC gaming is better and it would be easier to get add ons. i was about to buy dragon age but i got borderlands instead that's the reason why

Will my computer run Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dragon Age 2?

I am planning on getting both of these games for the PC because I like to use mods a lot but I don't know if my PC will run them. My specs:

MS Windows Home Premium 64-bit SP2

Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz, 4.0GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTWill my computer run Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dragon Age 2?
just search for CYRI in google.this is a website by system requirements lab (can you run it).you will get the answer select the games from drop down menuWill my computer run Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dragon Age 2?
dragon age 2 probably but that processor nor that video card doesnt look strong enough to hande DE

but i dont think the specs have came out yet, u just have to wait and see. Maybe DE isnt as demanding as it seems at first(much like Bioshock)Will my computer run Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dragon Age 2?

Hai, I can't give you an answer because I don't know how many RAM and what graphic card that you got but I believe your pc pass the minimum specs for the game on cpu so long as you have 2GB RAM or more and your GPU is either Ati Radeon x1550 or greater/ Nvidia Geforce 7600GT or greater you should be able to play the game on the lowest setting.

Should I buy Dragon age origins or Mass effect 2 and which console?

I don't game on PC. I am really not into the turn based RGP's like Final fantasy. I prefere the real time action type games like oblivion and fallout.Should I buy Dragon age origins or Mass effect 2 and which console?
Well if you like shooters, go for ME2 on the xbox.

Personally though, I love DA. The story is fantastic and the characters are really engaging. It's NOT a turn based RPG but the combat can be slightly sluggish. Aside from that thought it's a fantastic game. And if you get it on PC, there's a multitude of mods to choose from to keep the game fresh.

Mass Effect, undoubtedly is a brilliant game, but it just doesn't have the replayablity that DA has. Dragon Age's story changes based on what origin you pick be it Noble Dwarf or Wood Elf. Mass Effect, regardless of your choices plays out more or less the same. Me and my friend both found it was spectacular on first play but on the second one, it kind of dragged a little.

It's up to you and what your tastes are but Dragon Age wins out over Mass Effect in my book. Especially if you get it for PC.
Judging by what you just said, it seems to me that you would enjoy Mass Effect more than Dragon Age. Don't misunderstand me, I have both games and all their DLCs and I'm in complete love with both, however Mass Effect is more actiony than Dragon Age age, giving you a nice blend of FPS with RPG elements. Dragon Age is more traditional cRPG, with inventory management, party management, etc.

To restate, while both are excellent, I believe you would probably enjoy Mass Effect more.Should I buy Dragon age origins or Mass effect 2 and which console?
If you won't get Dragon Age Origins on PC, don't get it at all. The console versions were an afterthought and as a result suffer from horrible gameplay and graphics.

My advice for Mass Effect 2 is to get it on whichever platform you have your Mass Effect 1 saves, and since you don't play on PC that would have to be on 360 since PS3 doesn't have ME1. If you didn't play Mass Effect 1 don't get Mass Effect 2 yet. Play the first game, then import your character to get a much better experience. This is a trilogy that focuses on story and characters so you shouldn't start at the second game. You'll miss way too much.
Dragon Age isn't turn-based, but the combat is a bit of a chore. Many battles whittling down the enemies' xp, making it feel almost turn-based by the time the boss dies.

Go with Mass Effect 2. The game play is super fun, can be played in real time, or a pause and issue attack mode. They both have an awesome story, but Mass Effect 2's is much better. Check out Dragon Age 2, also.

I would recommend the xbox 360 versions over the PS3 version, only because I have heard of several major bugs with most, if not all Bioware games for the PS3.Should I buy Dragon age origins or Mass effect 2 and which console?
Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic game from start to finish. Immersing storyline and character depth, smooth and fast-paced gameplay, and spectacular graphics make this a game to remember.I think u can get this one best games in ps3 console.
mass effect easily on xbox its so fun

A good PC game to get? ........................ COD MW2, Borderlands Or Dragon-age origins?

Which pc game should I get? Out of these Three: Call of duty modern warfare 2, Borderlands, And dragon-age origins?A good PC game to get? ........................ COD MW2, Borderlands Or Dragon-age origins?
I haven't tried COD MW2, but I do know this. Borderlands replay value stinks, no matter what people say, the game gets stupid plot wise and annoying. The end is a disappointment. Dragon Age I also tried, doesn't seem bad but it really never pulled me in, I actually think the KotoR battle system before was better so i ended up giving it to my friend. COD MW2 might be fun if you have a high end PC. One suggestion I have is to also look forward to Global Agenda, seems like a super futuristic Hellgate.A good PC game to get? ........................ • Can I hack Isabela into my Dragon Age 2 game if I forgot to recruit her?

So I spent a lot of time in Act 1, but I completely forgot to find and recruit Isabel. I'm now in Act 2 and I just realized this. I know that she doesn't play a significant role in the game and I won't use her much, but I would still like to have her as an option. Are there any console commands that can let me add her to my team? By the way, I'm playing the PC version. Can I hack Isabela into my Dragon Age 2 game if I forgot to recruit her?
Yes you can hack her inside. Activate the game's console (google it if you dont know how) then press ~...dont worry if no text line is visible, just type in runscript zz_isa_debug. A dialogue with isabela's debug options should appear...now navigate to the plot points..and chose the "go to plot"..or something like that...choose chapter 1 and then teleport to the point where Isabela confronts the guy in her personal quest.

You should now find yourself in the middle of a fight, just finish it, and isabela will be in your party. Can I hack Isabela into my Dragon Age 2 game if I forgot to recruit her?
you might try asking or checking out a dragon age 2 forum,if there is a code for her some one there may know it or know where to find it.hope this helps.good luck.

Could I run Dragon Age: Origins with my computer?

I would like to get Dragon Age: Origins for PC because it is better than the console versions. My computer is rather old, but has recently had an upgrade. I believe I can run the game, but my processor is rather slow so I would not know.

    My specs are as follows:

    Windows XP

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz (2 CPUs)

    3GB RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT (Integrated)

    Direct X 9.0

So, will this computer run the smoothly on decent settings or will I need to get an upgrade? Also, is it possible to upgrade my processor? My BIOS is Phoenix (1.10). Thanks.Could I run Dragon Age: Origins with my computer?
Thats more than enough to run it. The game will probably upgrade you to directx 9.0c if you dont already have it. Honestly, there is no need to upgrade yet. The 3GHz processor is still good even with todays games, and the GeForce 9 series are still competitive cards. The X seris is only marginally better. As to the RAM, 32 bit operating systems (32 bit xp,vista and 7) can only use 4 gigs, and of that 4 only 3 are used for gaming (after 3 windows pretty much wastes the rest). Right now I believe with 3 gigs of RAM about 2.7 -2.8 are used for gaming.

You still have a little while until you need to worry about dropping $$$ to upgrade. Unless you're worried about running Chrysis at max. Unfortunately, you'll only be able to upgrade to another P4, considering core-duo and quad-core are different chipsets. You're better off saving your money longer and buying a new system or overclocking your CPU and GPU and RAM (dangerous, get professional help to do it or else you'll fry expensive things)Could I run Dragon Age: Origins with my computer?
The integrated video will be a severe, if not show-stopping problem. The P4 *might* be upgradable. I won't guarantee it, however. It will be a moot point, though, without a video upgrade.

Should i buy dragon age 2 or the new medal of honor. for pc?

i would go for dragon age 2 that game is so much better than moh. i mean moh had a decent campaign but once your done with that your looking forward to multiplayer right? on multiplayer its is consumed by snipers and the snipers in this game are a one shot kill. this game ill get you frustrated and even though the same company that made bfbc made the online it fell short. get da2 that game will give you more for your buck and will just overall be a better time.Should i buy dragon age 2 or the new medal of honor. for pc?
I don't know anything about Medal Of Honor, but as much as I loooooove Bioware, I did not particularly like DA2. It was super repetitive, using the same few rooms for multiple places, and didn't have a coherent story. It was very much a bridge game from DAO to a possible 3, which hasn't been announced yet. It was still fun to play, with the mechanics being spruced up a lot since DAO, and instead of one overarching story like DAO, DA2 seemed to be several small stories stringed together.Should i buy dragon age 2 or the new medal of honor. for pc?
da2 was a bit of a more action-oriented rpg than a real rpg-rpg. I don't know which you like better but if you like the real in-depth stuff then don't get DA2.

    P.S.%26gt; Is ARMA any good?

Thanks :)Will dragon Age:Origins run on my PC?
You CAN run it, but the quality would be pretty poor.

    I recommend upgrading these things:

    Your graphics card

    Your RAM

Both incredibly easy to buy and upgrade, depending on your budget.

First you need at least 4 GB of RAM.

Buy 1x2 DDR2 RAM stick. Ask your local computer shop for the best brand.

Install video link on at the bottom.

Secondly you can get a new graphics card with possibly 512 MB. ATI or Nvidia is your call.

Installing the video card is easy once you get it.

Hope this helps. Remember, you don't HAVE to change the hardware, you still may be able to play it.

So i got Dragon age origins for the PC , got the code for the blood dragon armor and redeemed it. I then just got Mass effect 2 for the 360 and im not sure if i can get the blood dragon armor on ME2 for 360 if i had Dragon age on the PC... any idea?

If its possible - any instructions would be handy

Many thanks :)Mass effect 2 and blood dragon armor?
Yes you can. As long as you use the same email address and EA-bioware account on both games then you can still use it cross platforms. Just sign in and download it.

You shouldn't need to use the code twice as its stored on your account at EA.Mass effect 2 and blood dragon armor?
Doubt it, but you coudl always try by going to the main menu

    picking: EXTRAS

and then picking " downloadable content" then " redeem code" and enter the code, if it doesnt work, then it isnt compatible,

Dragon Age doesn't need the best hardware to run well. Last generation cards runs it fine at full settings. Your current computer wont do very well but your new computer will have no problems

Pretty much can that pc spec run dragon age origins smoothly? Can AMD Athlon(tm)64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+2.21 Ghz, 1.87 GB Ram run dragon age?
You'd probably need at least 2gb of ram, check the back of the box, and it'll probably show you the specs it needs to run this games smoothly.

How can I fix my Dragon Age 2 Map?

I just started Dragon Age 2 on my PC. My map isn’t working. It has all the location markers but no “map.” It is fragmented and garbled. It looks like when you download a graphic file and don’t get all the data and you have part of the picture then strips of “static.” I have the static for my map.

I have reinstalled. And I tried downloading the hi-rez texture pack. How can I fix my Dragon Age 2 Map?
    What is your specs???

Will dragon age run on my PC?

    Hey guys,

I am left wondering now as some guys told me that it would run fine under low or medium configurations, and some tell me it won't. Will Dragon Age: origins run on my PC?

    Intel Pentium 4 2.4 gHz

    2 GB System DDR2 Memory

Intel G945 Integrated graphics card 256 MB

    Windows 7 Ultimate

    Will my PC run it?

    Thanks,

    Abhishek

P.S.%26gt; By the way my computer has been able to run several games which require higher processors or things, like NeedForSpeed Carbon, Sims 3, FIFA 10, FIFA online beta, World of Warcraft etc etc. Will dragon age run on my PC?
It will just ruin your love of Bioware.

And it won't run on your computer.

How will dragon age origins run on this PC spec?

Hi, I want to get dragon age origins on the PC or PS3..

My first choice is to go with the pc version (free mods + cheaper price, use of the mouse etc) but im worried about the spec! I will only get it on the PC IF i can run it on FULL graphic settings with no v sync/slow downs. (as that REALLY pisses me off when playing pc games lol)

    This is my spec

    Phenom quad x4 955 3.6Ghz (oc'ed) Processor,

    4Gb ddr3 ram

    vista 64

    4870x2 2Gb of ddr5 ram

1920x1600 (this is the part im worried about the most)

I can get around 30-40FPS on crysis on V high with x2AA

Recommended: Core 2 Quad with 2.4 GHz (or comparable AMD CPU), 2048 MB RAM (XP), 4096 MB RAM (Vista), Geforce 8800 GTS or Radeon HD 3850 with 512 MB

I pass all spec requirments.. but im still worried..As you can see i run a high res setting. This leads me to beilive even tho i meet all requirments i will still have problems at this res and will lead to low Fps's:( can any one help?

P.s i can run aion on around 50-60fps but as thats an online game dont think u can go by that. How will dragon age origins run on this PC spec?
well, unless you have one of the highest of high end computers, games like dragon age are going to lag a little, at least eventually. With your specs, i would estimate (roughly) that the game would work fine at first, but after around 3 or four hours (or in some of those places where there is a lot going on at once) it will start to lag. At this point you should stop playing and either turn off the computer for around a half hour rest, or stop playing and do something else, then turn it off. It will lag until you give the computer a rest either way. this is, of course, based on what I know of your computer, so there could be something on your computer that will make it run slower that I don't know about. Also, Im not so sure about the vista 64...

Should I buy both Dragon Age games on the PC or Xbox?

I downloaded the Dragon Age 2 demo for PC today, and I absolutely loved the game. I was planning on buying Dragon age 2 %26amp; Dragon Age 1 this week. However, I wasn't sure which platform to buy it on.

I could play the demo on Medium graphics quality on my pc, but not much higher as the framerate got a bit choppy. So i was wondering what platform should I buy it on? Astounding graphics %26amp; smooth gameplay on the Xbox? or smooth gameplay but lower quality (but Still brilliant) graphics on the PC?

Any ideas on what I should do? I enjoy playing PC games more, but still I like xbox gaming. Also, Im not as good at PC as I am on xbox...Should I buy both Dragon Age games on the PC or Xbox?
You'll probably want to play Origins on the PC because it has a strong emphasis on tactics, so you'll want to be able to zoom out, and click on dudes. Dragon Age 2 however, I hear is more like Mass Effect so either version would probably give you the same experience.
For Dragon Age: Origins, I suggest getting the PC version. It's controls are much better, and it has a top-down view of the battle field for easier targeting. As for Dragon Age 2, I suggest getting it for the Xbox, because, in my opinion, Dragon Age 2 is more console oriented.Should I buy both Dragon Age games on the PC or Xbox?
Here is a easier way to look at it if you want more strategy then you want the PC version but if you want more action the get the Xbox 360 Version
    PC...

And even if you do play on the PC, the graphics are better than Xbox. If you can get 30fps on medium quality it beats Xbox.Should I buy both Dragon Age games on the PC or Xbox?
I would get it for pc, since you ready did the demo on it.
Dragon Age is for the pc, no doubt

  • Dragon age origins or Dragon age 2?

Hello guys, okay, dilemma... I was thinking about what to get, Dragon Age Origins special edition, which comes with all additional content, by that meaning awakening and all the DLC(for xbox 360 btw). But i would also be wanting Dragon Age 2, which as we know isnt out until march. Some side info, i have Dragons Age Origins for the PC but my pc isnt designed for gaming, thus i have to have the graphics to the bare minimum, but i can have textures maxed. Also have all the promo items for pc. By that, i mean... i have every single piece of content released for origins on the PC.Dragon age origins or Dragon age 2?
This one is the best xbox game. i also like this game.

If you played on your PC, then get part 2.

If you haven't, start with part 1.

But remember, that in part 2 you can connect the game with a save from part 1 which can change the outcome of some of the things in the game.Dragon age origins or Dragon age 2?
i would recommend going for dao due to the story line

some of the story will cross paths with dao 2

    Dragon age......................?

I just got done playing the dragon age 2 demo on my 360 and ....It looks more like a pc type of game. Has anyone here played dragon age on the console and pc? Can you tell me which is better?Dragon age......................?
PC is always going to be better in terms of graphics. As for gameplay they tried to make it faster on the consoles, the PC is more strategic. Which you like better is a matter of preference. Otherwise they really aren't that different.

Dragon age origins or mass effect 2 for pc?

idk which one to choose and they both seem pretty decent games.

plz tell me wich games is better and why and if i shuld get it on 360 or pcDragon age origins or mass effect 2 for pc?
Reasons to get Dragon Age Origins:

--%26gt; Feels like World of Warcraft without a subscription fee

--%26gt; Longer than Mass Effect 2

--%26gt; Different dialogue for each origin makes it great for replay value.

--%26gt; Looks and Plays the best on PC

Reasons to get Mass Effect 2:

--%26gt; Sci Fi shooter (Feels like Star Trek)

    --%26gt; Amazing Weapons

    --%26gt; Great characters

To be totally honest, you'd need to have played the first Mass Effect to get most of the story. There are significant improvements from the original game, but you won't understand much contextually if you missed out on it. Dragon Age has so much replay value I can't even begin to explain. I'm on my third playthrough and it feels almost like a totally different game.

your processor is above the minimum required but below the recommended.

    its your graphics card.

the 9400gt is not a gaming card (i told you this a couple of days ago on another question)

it barely meets the minimum needed to run the game.

the game will run, but no way will it run on max settings at any resolution, or maybe 800 x 600

to run games fast you will have to upgrade your graphics cardWould my pc run dragon age origins in medium settings on 1024:768 resolution with 35 fps?
Looking up that graphics card (Theoretical Shader Processing Rate), it's slightly better than the Geforce 8500 GT my brother is playing it on. However he turned everything down and it's still a little slow. You will be able to play it and you will probably enjoy it (my brother is) but 35fps sounds unlikely to me.

Don't count on having much fun with Bioshock. That needs a decent framerate and you will not get it.
